That is definitely true. There's been some grumbling around here some WDW execs are actually concerned they may have finally reached that point. Nothing has been confirmed and no changes have been announced, but there is some anxiety ahead of this summer.

Disney doesn't care what the other parks are charging. They do pay attention to what they are doing as far as attractions, but on price WDW does whatever WDW wants. What usually happens is the other parks move up to WDW levels.

That crew was bad but these jokers tonight need to nominated for an award for ineptitude. Every. Damn. Night.

Agreed. The league would be much better served by using their energy and resources to make an attempt to improve the travesty that is the officiating that ruins games every night.

While the #3 seed is disappointing considering where the weekend started but looking at the expectations for this team in January the 3 seed is outstanding. It might be Heller's best job.

The amazing thing is that somehow this team lost 8 Big 10 games. I don't understand that for a minute. This lineup is absolutely lethal, the pitchers are outstanding and they catch everything.

Do you think an Iowa loss likely pushes them off the at-large bubble in favor of some SEC team that is 1 game over .500?

I don't have any real complaints about the reviews. The strike zone, however, is another matter entirely.

Good point.

That was an inning from the umpire for sure. It just sucks because you knew that was going to happen because this Oregon lineup is just ridiculous. When you manage to fool one of these Duck hitters only to have the ump blow the call is just a punch in the gut.

That was an Angel Hernandez -level miss. Just awful

Beavers have a plane to catch.

When they make Ohio State and/or Michigan host one of these games I'll get on board. As long as they allow UM and OSU to give them the middle finger about it, it's a crock of shit that should not exist.

Every year on 9/11 I tell my students what I was doing that entire morning (I was in class, watching the news-my students watched the 2nd plane hit live) including the CNN coverage we watched. The first thing I tell them is how my parents could tell me where they were when JFK was shot. Same thing.

That was frustrating. Walks, especially late in the game are bad. Add in 3 throwing errors by the pitchers and you take a loss.

A truly remarkable season for them especially considering the turmoil they went through.

D.F.A. The guy has sucked all year.

Swapping Nalyssa Smith for DeWonna Bonner is a major upgrade.

I'm in favor of Iowa never playing a game on the west coast again. Ever. In any sport.

This is a crucial part of any child's development. We made sure to read to our kids often.

Not a fan of either. I don't hate them to the point that I pick them out of a fruit salad, but I don't carve up a cantaloupe or a honeydew and eat it either.

True. Many of the small-school conferences will play conference games mid week which limits availability for non-con games. It's just frustration boiling over as Iowa keeps playing poorly against the various midwestern directional schools

Another mid-week RPI-killing loss. I understand the need to schedule these games but it's frustrating watching Iowa play terrible in them.

Too often the pitching/hitting coach gets blamed too much when a team struggles. Sometimes, it's actually true.

And the fact that it was Blake Guerin!

Rick Heller is just so good. To have Blake bunt was crazy, but to try it again when he had 2 strikes is just nuts. Great win tonight and as an added bonus, the Hoosiers let Seebold throw 82 pitches so he shouldn't be available for the rest of the weekend. He was really tough tonight.

This guy is having an Angel Hernandez type of game. No one knows what the zone actually is.

There aren't words to describe how bad this was. Iowa had better hope they're not among the teams struggling for one of the last spots in the tournament because I can't imagine any of the other contenders will have a loss like this on their resume. Just a horrific performance.

I agree but you're right. Laying an egg or two on a Wednesday is not recommended at this point.
