If you hear someone is a human rights lawyer in the UK it is best to not assume they are on the side of human rights.

Anne-Marie Stephenson's follow list on here showed a preponderance of transphobes that throws doubt on her capacity to be impartial on trans issues. The fact she had that follow list purged once she was announced as preferred candidate for EHRC chair indicates that she knew it was a smoking gun.

The New York Times is back at it again (derogatory). An upcoming New York Times podcast on trans youth healthcare used audio from the mother of a trans girl against her will, after producers caught a vulnerable moment on tape.

Mary-Ann Stephenson was very active in feminist politics in Coventry during the 2010s. I can confirm she is extremely transphobic, although she always kept her nastiest comments behind closed doors. This proposed appointment should be resisted in the strongest possible terms.

Well we get long editorials shouting about the explosion of mentions of PBs in the press? 13 mentions for each adolescent actually prescribed them in 2023 seems, well, more than a bit obsessive

Sounds like we should be taxing the fuck out of the rich.

Incredible that just filming this video would have been a crime if this injunction had been granted.

Trans Derangement Syndrome is terrifying. Imagine amassing more wealth than any human in existence can imagine and spending it all on trying to hurt people whose lives don't affect you at all

At this point we should just make being a billionaire a criminal offence, given how much societal harm they cause.
