Every person on Bluesky should know: * Every post on Bluesky is PUBLIC forever * Every post on Bluesky is archived by ICE, NSA, and many other agencies * Even if you delete a post, it’s already been captured * Judges don’t care if you were “kidding” or being ironic www.404media.co/the-200-site...

The EHRC Guidance is a wicked exercise in removing rights from trans people - and is bad too for employers and service providers, those outside gender norms, people with disabilities and the economy. We've created a tool to make it easy to respond. Please use and share. goodlaw.social/9e59e9

The BBC just printing Maya Forstater lying through her teeth. Zero evidence of any assaults by trans people in bathrooms. Plenty of evidence of assaults by GCs.

Oink bitch

@theguardian.com had an editorial demanding the government force conversion 'therapy' on trans youth and wes streeting gleefully obliged. that's now all that's available to teenagers like elsie.

Remember this iconic photo from Ferguson? This is Edward Crawford, throwing back a tear gas canister to protect some nearby kids. Like many identified Ferguson protesters and organizers, he was "found dead" a couple years later and neither the cops nor the media will ever investigate.

This trick, explained: treating two unique things as one - Data centre load growth is to power ultraslop generative spam firehose - "AI for climate" stuff is narrow-domain applications that don't require carpet-bombing cities with MWh-guzzling DCs www.theguardian.com/environment/...

The fact that Bridget Phillipson is now defending Mary-Ann Stephenson's appointment, despite knowing she cannot Chair a neutral regulator, wnd because she is an ideological ally, speaks clearly of Labour's attitude to governance: it is *identical* to that of the Tories.

So much clarity. (Membury Services.)

Just to be clear: Taylor & Francis, like Palgrave Macmillan, which is owned by Springer Nature, a company heaquartered in Cham, canton of Zug, Switzerland, is part of a global tax evasion racket. Taylor & Francis is a subsidiary of an entity called "Informa". And, of course, Informa is, as

If you hear someone is a human rights lawyer in the UK it is best to not assume they are on the side of human rights.

Anne-Marie Stephenson's follow list on here showed a preponderance of transphobes that throws doubt on her capacity to be impartial on trans issues. The fact she had that follow list purged once she was announced as preferred candidate for EHRC chair indicates that she knew it was a smoking gun.

Big fight, big fight Big Trump/Musk fight The racist arsehole nepo babies Feud to our delight

The New York Times is back at it again (derogatory). An upcoming New York Times podcast on trans youth healthcare used audio from the mother of a trans girl against her will, after producers caught a vulnerable moment on tape.

Mary-Ann Stephenson was very active in feminist politics in Coventry during the 2010s. I can confirm she is extremely transphobic, although she always kept her nastiest comments behind closed doors. This proposed appointment should be resisted in the strongest possible terms.

Trying to decide if Guardian columnists are all like this now because of bigotry-as-social-contagion or rapid-onset-bigotry.

This one’s real easy: you got old and comfortable and reactionary, and now you think the Daily Mail has a point. A much more helpful and revealing question than “Are kids selfish and dumb” would be “Why is this bigotry acutely localised to politics and journalism?”
