I use Hyde Park the most, which obvs has big chunks closed off winter and summer - plus things like the Royal Parks half which I can never get a place to run in… I’m not sure how I feel about it - it’s a shared space so I get that I have to share it. I also want to run in it every week.

I regularly run in Spain and it’s a delight to just pay a reasonable fee to enter a race on a first come first served basis.I’m not against charity but nor do I expect my coworkers to sponsor my hobby. The balance is all wrong in UK races. Why can’t we just run for the joy of running? Too few places

Amazing how many people go on about lack of mixer taps though. Are people visiting 1985 or something?

Pedestrian here. I too would very much like if cyclists would allow me to cross when the green man is on rather than totally ignoring the red light which means there’s no way for me to cross safely. Perhaps in pedestrian areas cyclists shouldn’t be going to quickly that it’s hard to stop…?

I’ve noticed a few Ubers being Teslas which seemed weird as I assumed they cost such a lot. The thing I notice is that they have extremely hard to use door handles. Not really a great innovation to my mind… what was wrong with how conventional door handles function??

I would love it if any of the pubs near me (NW6) stayed open past 12. The nightlife is non-existent in much of this world city.

I witnessed an accident where a guy’s front wheel went in a pot hole and he was flipped forward face first into the road. He was ok - bruised & shaken. But I was v surprised when I went to help get the bike out of the road and couldn’t even lift it- too heavy. They do cause obstructions on pavements

Unfortunately the facts & data don’t even break through the narrative that people are telling. So many people I know and respect have gone off the deep end on this issue - it’s hard to understand. But says something about how we’re all susceptible to conspiracy theories with the right triggers.

Honestly a far superior internet purpose than evangelising about magic hair removal devices. What can I say, it’s not the first time I’ve done it, and I’ll probably do it again. I’m really really happy about the laser thingy.

Unfunny but hopefully helpful response… get a laser thing. Takes a bit of time investment to start with but actually works. Seriously. You will never look back. You’re welcome.
