I had a chance to hear Dave Brubeck perform a piece of his at St. Thomas church in Fairfield, CT in the mid-late '80s. Then I snuck "backstage" to meet him. I was surprised by his big, tough hands.

While there are assholes everywhere, I've been really impressed with Pittsburghers since moving here 6 years ago. It's a progressive city. Folks are generally kind and welcoming. And there is a vibrant LGBTQ community here.
