It ensures we don't talk about the real issues such as austerity pt2, privatisation of NHS, corporate tax avoidance....

This is a stuck narrative as it is aided, supported and amplified by specific media outlets to drown out any other narrative. Polictians are now afraid of losing power to the populist.

I absolutely agree, as in America the language of populism will prevail, fair evidence based policy and decision making will not exist, and we will have Nigel Farage in number 10, because Starmer and supporters put him there.....

They the job they being paid to do, complete Brexit.

I am glad I did not vote for him, he is the tool that will be used to put Nigel Farage is number 10. The Labour Party is now another variation of the tories with a sprinkling of Reform...what a embarrassment and disappointment.

Break this 9 million down into demographic groups ie: are they all under 30, medically identified physical or mental illness, retired early and have not reached retirement age, mothers with children under 5, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? Do just ban around numbers put them into context, so it makes sense!

I have been saying this since Labour started on the nonsensical road!!

Look to ICE in America to see where that ends....honestly I an sick of the oligarchs dictating the media narrative...
comment in response to

It will backfire because it's not base on careful consideration of holistic research, data and sound strategic thinking regards policy outcomes, just a need to engage the populist and/or reform demographic.
comment in response to
post
It will not be, as his backers own the media narrative.
comment in response to

It is clear Starmer is not navigating the ship, merely a passenger...captained by those who believe that the way to maintain power is to ampt up the populist agenda, it does not have to make sense or be beneficial to general population.. Just speak to the reform demographic..

I agree

It's not rocket science...uneducated population... a controlable population.
comment in response to

Shout it from the roof tops....particularly so the ineffective Starmer can hear.
comment in response to

This is absolutely ridiculous, as it does not align with Labour Party values, but to be fair the Labour Party is now controlled by oligarchs who want use it as vechicle to corperatise the UK...

This man honestly...I don't know how he can trott out such nonsense with a straight face... a barely passable deal, with vague detail.. is a benefit of brexit🙄
comment in response to

This should shouted from roof tops, shutting down Reforms lying mantra!
comment in response to

I think that it is utterly predictable that none of the media outlets owned by the beneficiaries of brexit do not report on the social, development and economic affects we are now living through. Well look out for more examples of our weaken position in the world...

I so agree that the way the media platform the reform party you would think he had second largest party in Britain, but we no its just there oligarch backers using media ownership to push there agenda.
comment in response to

I ultimately think that Blair Mandelson and other sunch ilk run the Labour Party, who are pseudo Labour Party members (actual tories with small t). So they never speak to their policital demographic, or develop policy that will does so, and Starmer will be left carrying the can.
comment in response to

This nonsense will continue to speak to continue demographic.

What's the demographic of the 10%????

Police can not prevent online lies, if so called policitcal representative repeat them in the general media as if they are truths with no represscusions, and so called journalists don't challenge them as falsehoods.

Nigel Farage is a reflection of a section our society which is regressive and reactionary. This why he can continue to chant two phrases " look at what the black & brown people are taking from you", or " why are they proud to be british". Whilst being the spokemans for the oligarchs.
comment in response to

I find this man so boring and predictable. Legal immigration has significantly dropped and illegal immigration has not been appropriately dealt with even under the last government. But immigration has never been the issue poor governance and corruption is what impacts us all.

Wow he is deliberately misinterpreting, so he can give an answer that speaks to their base..I.e; see they are out of touch with ordinary working people not like us!

Maintaining the military industrial complex ensures America's foothold countries of resource. The only addition I would make to that is the social awareness and economic change in the relationship with other countries may undermine this continued model. They least care about the American population.

He should now be challenged on policy implementation!!! Not smooth brain trump sound bits that have basis in reality in the UK.
comment in response to

Ensures he has the tools to quell opposition or rebellion, in the population, once the reality of his policies sets in.

If they keep him Farage will be our next PM. Take lessons from Canada.
comment in response to

He just goes back to the same demographic and tells them what they want to hear and vote for him....no immigrates....case in point trump. Eventually he will merge with whats left of the Conservatives and be our next prime minister .
comment in response to

I actually think that is the agenda, Farage as our next prime minister.
