There seem to be plenty of examples of when "no means no" and then there is situations that apply to PWD where "no means keep pushing the point (MAID for example) until they say yes"

Disabled people like us are a forest of old-growth trees. We may not be that mobile, but we're still adaptable. Still beautiful. Still priceless. And you can cut us down, but you'll miss the air we give you sooner or later. No living thing is a net negative. Ignoring our value doesn't change that.
