Use the word corrupt AND illegal when you describe it. Describe your GOP colleagues as corrupt as well if they do not hold up their job and hold him to the Constitution in accepting gifts from foreign countries. Don't hold back.

Reagan also weaponized the abortion issue. Evangelicals could give a crap about it in the early 1970's, but Reagan needed an issue to run with in 1980. Race wouldn't work he felt, so he got Jerry Falwell involved with abortion and Evangelicals and it took off for decades.

He didn't have a weekly TV show where ignorant twits got won over, their media didn't have him on every day and build up a loser to be something he wasn't. A party didn't grasp on to him with BS propaganda, and they also did remember and learn about a propaganda brigade and know better.
