I don't think we talk enough about how dignity is also a human right. Food, water, shelter, education, health care, representation...all of those are human rights that everyone should receive regardless of who they are. But it's also a right to not have to beg for them.

I don't care if these monstrous ICE raids are a "federal operation". This is authoritarian violence, plain and simple. Just because Stephen Miller has kidnapping quotas for brown people he doesn't want to see on the street doesn't mean we have to think it's okay.

Jesus fuck this map alone is enough. Then consider the Great Barrier Reef bleaching on the east coast the Gnoorea Beach fish kill and the toxic algae bloom in At Vincents Bay off Adelaide. And so far I've only seen the extent of this marine disaster reported by one team of journalists.

Timely reminder that the treatment for chemical weapons like tear gas and pepper spray is: 1) remove from active contamination (get them out of the cloud of teargas, remove outer layers of clothing if possible) 2) flush eyes with ONLY clean water. Wash skin and hair with water and soap.

ER doctor here! Please seek medical attention (go to the ER) if you are hit in the head with a ballistic. “Less lethal” weapons kill people all the time, in addition to causing permanent disabilities. If you don’t feel safe disclosing that you were protesting just say you were hit in the head, etc

One very kind person bought my new single at double the cost yesterday: $3 - less than the cost of a cup of coffee. I would have to accumulate ~900 streams to make the same amount of money on streaming platforms (and Spotify has a 1,000 threshold so even if I got 999 streams, they wouldn’t payout)
