Damn betcha. In fact, we were doing that for years already. From the git go in January, it was the Fugitive Slave Act from. Top to bottom again.

Back at hotel though I had my personal first time experience, I sat on the balcony of my 10th floor, hotel room. Watched the tropical clouds scud across my field of vision. Listened to the Atlantic Bahia waves hit the beach below. Drank a cerveza. My head feels better. Bed time.

Each and every one music lovers. Many professionals in music in some way. It was mad exciting. So much so it was almost difficult for us to actually listen to the terrific local trio.

Directly east on the Atlantic from here is the Bsy of Guinea, Africa. We see why here in Brazil is the largest population of people African descent outside of Africa.

El V woke at midnight down here, thinking it 8 am, so opened fone, as one does. He then woke me to say, "Mamdani has it!"

Richardson's short essay is a concise and clear history of Juneteenth, what it means and why we have it. It's an excellent explanation for those of us who may be a little unclear in our Juneteenth history in the context of the War of the Rebellion.

PRobably. They ordered the costumes the 'marching' soldiers wore for the D.C. fizzle from Hollywood.

My new phone's camera is so superior to the old one. This is how the flowers looked Saturday in our community garden, including those lovely soft shadows that come on an overcast day -- it was also raining hard when I took this.

He's as downright active evil as the tacocrims.

Except it IS the norm for how maga deals, and it is relentlessly escalating that norm. So what are we to do about it? How are the DEMS gonna deal with that? What are they doing? The Olds in the Dems aren't doing anything at all. Strong letters don't count, ya know.

I was actually wondering where these people were yesterday. I thought surely Schumer at least would make an appearance here at some point, but no . . . .

It's amazing -- the 50501 stole the Mudville Taco Parade BD fiesta from Taco, all across the country -- with the millions who protested in heat and rain. With the rally right now in NYC with the AOC and Mamdani rally which is just frakin' amazing -- and televised. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oymr...

We are there! It's a party, its exciting, its crowded. Unlike the empty party in Mudville where mighty Casey struck out .... mock heroic ballad from 1888.

"Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light; And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout, But there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Casey has struck out." Mock Heroic Ballad -- 1888

The numbers constantly underrepresented. ~~~~ Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light; And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout, But there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Casey has struck out.

In the meantime AOC and Mamdani are holding a rally here in NYC which is packed, and very pointedly reaching the Latino voters of NYC. www.instagram.com/p/DK5YlY6uYLj/

The last lines of "Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic, Sung in the Year 1888" by Ernest Thayer, a mock heroic ballad. These lines came to mind looking at the emply checkpoints in D.C. tonight for the crowds who didn't come to Casey's birthday. Ya know what I mean?
