The turkling-ing is upon us! Our first orphan wild turkey poult of the year just arrived, soon there will be a flood. I like to call them turklets or turklings instead, its just more fun. (We take most of the baby turkeys for our whole state for rehabilitation and release). 🪶

Heavy winds and storms this past week have meant a busy time for babies needing help! This little barred owl took a big tumble but will hopefully be able to be renested with its family (or another wild foster family) after a short bit of supportive care. 🪶
