I concentrated so much last year on flight shots with Sand Eels that I thought I'd just try and capture the funny little quirks that make them so charming, of course I did get a few flight shots with beaks full but this one from last year is still my favourite, caught perfectly on the turn

Looks like I photoshopped that Puffin in front of the sign but just sat on the bench and with that many birds at the Wick, they just do the work for you 😂

Skomer is an amazing success story from nearly losing the Puffins completely ~ clearing the island of rats and stopping the fishing it's just incredible what has been achieved 😍

😂 was hoping to see Short Eared Owls but no sign even though 11 pairs reported on the Island this year ~ other sights Razorbills, Guillemots, Peregrine, Wheatear, Choughs, Linnets, Wrens, Barn Swallows and the odd Seagull 👍
