A minute after this picture, she hopped off, doing the most hilariously ostentatious "LOOK, LOOK AT ME, WATCH ME" hops you could ever imagine
Brava, madam, outstanding performance

Look at this brave mama bunny
Believe me when I tell you she was STONE COLD while there were two rowdy cats romping around like idiots just feet away

I did also like the whole "this guy's a wizard, and that guy's a space monster who wants to steal his necklace" or whatever bit in particular

Perfect for anyone who finds Doritos to be too spicy
Reader, I am from South Dakota, and I have never seen such spice wimpiness…

I got a bag of "Ultimate Cheddar" Doritos
It was breathtaking in its pointlessness

Wait, which is it? Is he making stuff up (in which case there'd he no screenshots) or is he leaving out context?

I've been finally realizing over the past couple weeks just how often the reason our bossy girl cat is screaming at me is just because I haven't advanced to the next phase of the day yet
"Why are you still in the office?! It's time to go eat dinner and watch TV! Hurry up!"
I love kitty routines…

How come someone who scampers is a scamp?
(That's the other one, I couldn't remember it the other day, until just now when I remarked on my fluffy boy scampering down the hall)

Like, I get that there were no good options, especially in swing states. But if someone can't recognize even that level of culpability, there's really no conversation to be had

"I don't support genocide!" cried the person who knowingly provided material support (their vote) to someone publicly pledging to provide material support (bombs) to genocide
comment in response to

Hmm, if being called genocidal is so psychically damaging, maybe you should not support genocide

you asked "what would she have said to please [me]," idiot. My two main concerns were Palestine & trans rights
And she didn't "support trans," she said she'd "follow the law." What's more and more of the law re trans folks these days?
Anyway, feel free to fuck off, I'm muting your illiterate ass

I should definitely take you seriously

In a real situation, it'd be clear soon enough it was the wrong approach, but if the right approach IS to come at it backwards, you'll never get there unless you can see it's an option in the first place

I had a candidate once turn a problem around backwards in a way that DEFINITELY led to a worse solution, but I voted hire anyway because I appreciated her being able and willing to turn a problem backwards like that
And she ended up being one of the best engineers I've worked with
comment in response to

Yeah, exactly, I'm WAY more interested in seeing how you approach a problem and take it apart and turn it around than I am in syntax bullshit or whatever
It's not like if you get the job, you're going to encounter "you have one hour to solve this puzzle or we lose forty million dollars" situations

(I also made sure to communicate that I recognized how artificial and bullshit a setting the whole thing inevitably was)

Like, I would MUCH rather run out of time on the exercise than run out of time on answering questions they had

One of the things I was proud about when I was doing tech interviews was that I reordered things to put the design/coding problem at the end, and really emphasized both that it was NOT the most important part and that I cared way more about overall approach than getting to an actual answer

So fucking selfish, putting my concern for the lives of strangers ahead of Kamala Harris's desire to keep helping to murder them en masse

Me before my friend tries to jump the Grand Canyon on a BMX bike: Please don't, I think you'll die
Me after my friend dies trying to jump the Grand Canyon on a BMX bike: I wish he hadn't tried to jump the Grand Canyon on a BMX bike
You, his dumb family: You did this, I hope you're happy, monster

You assholes now for some reason: Looks like you got everything you wanted, you monster

Oh my fucking god
I did not have however many million more votes she needed to cast. There was no way for me to fucking fix this myself
Know who could have fucking fixed this herself?
Kamala Fucking Harris
Go fucking yell at her

And we were pretty fucking clear about that the entire fucking time

I don't know why you're acting like leftists had some impossible to satisfy bottomless well of demands, fucking most of us who didn't vote for her would have if she'd just opposed fucking genocide

Something like "I will stop sending weapons to Israel, and use the power of my position to end the ongoing genocide of Palestinians" and "I will support trans people by opposing anti-trans movements and fighting to preserve and expand access to gender affirming care for anyone who wants it"
comment in response to
post
Yes, this is exactly why we wanted her to stop supporting genocide, so that she might actually win the election
comment in response to

Meanwhile they apparently ARE ashamed to admit what they've done (i.e., materially support genocide)
comment in response to

Also, weird how "loudly and consistently insisting that their preferred candidate change a dealbreaker policy position to earn support" somehow doesn't count as civic engagement 🤷♀️
