Cat recommends a stone floor if you can get one. Tiles or laminate will do in a pinch.

5:11am before it was visible from Castlerigg Keswick, it had some mountains and trees to get past first. Beautiful night for it.

Incoming or outgoing? I'm not sure I have a compliant adaptor.

Yeah cos that makes you the riddler. This shit would turn one of my favourite passages to "Everyone laughs when you have to chase your own hat"

All the marbles please. Not "a lot of marbles", in asking for ALL the marbles you have.

I am using feisty to describe my neighbour's french bulldog from this point forwards.

One Japanese equivalent of "don't mention it" in return for thanks is "Tondemonai desu" which I'm told means "it's unthinkable" (that you should feel the need to give thanks). I'm loving learning a language that is so unrelated to mine, the cultural context also has to be learned for understanding.

But perhaps you were going for the itch in the middle of your back that you can't reach? Or coins in your back pocket that you're sitting on?

That's just, like, your opinion man. Have fun trying to reduce ANP's followers one person at a time.

I'll follow them if they're promoting the no kings protests to 800k+ followers and @markhamillofficial.bsky.social follows them. If a lot of it is fiction, I don't see the harm. Q-anon said people were draining kids for life extending drugs. If you don't see the difference, I can't help you. Peace

Because that's not what I believe they're doing.

So the LLM has it's use there and I don't feel like I'm doing anyone out of a job. It also does nuanced searches better than vanilla google. It's the ubiquity of it all, AI to make memes, AI to make my camera do things it could do before they called it AI. It's the salted caramel of the tech world.

Good post. I think we're in a similar place, I use Gemini to discuss my approaches. In doing this I'm not discussing with fellow devs and so letting them get on with their day. Working from home it's become the equivalent of asking someone who doesn't look busy, harder to judge via teams (1/2)

I know who the puppet is, I don't know who is pulling his strings.

Ah, if I got that wrong I apologise. I never met anyone who claimed to be the president of the US trying to shill hats, gold cards and memcoins but hey, the world is a different place on a daily basis.

What, because they didn't credit a photo? Is the photo of a different day? No. Were the people protesting something else? No. The POINT is that when a lot of people are pissed off and get together, they can achieve something. Regardless of whether this is the best you can do, I'm done now.

I really don't care enough to engage with what's going on in twitter. I came here to get away from the rage. When they start asking me for money to fund their thousands of activists I'll become more critical. Right now this is good anti establishment content and if that's all it is, that's enough.

I did read the thread thanks. It proved as much as they prove ie nothing. You tell us exactly what they're doing then. My fave comment was the person who said something along the lines of "just like anonymous, I've never met anyone who said they were a member of anonymous" Seriously folks....?

I love this thread. The people who may be coordinating resistance among federal employees who have time on their hands cos Elon fired them REFUSE to tell us who they are or what they're doing. Of course they wont! What a stupid take. Will everyone in the revolution put their hands up please? 😂

I love how the first half is chaotic and fast then the second half I can hear the beat stop and everything goes slo-mo and finishes with a boom. I don't know the tune but in my head the ten panels before the last are just hi hat hits marking time before the drop. Happy pride month back atcha 💜

Because I think it makes a difference regardless of the actual figure. I've gone on the assumption that playing a game on Gamepass increases the dev's income but given Spotify pay $0.005 per stream if it's that kinda model, perhaps it doesn't increase it by much. Glad I bought a few
comment in response to post
How do MS pay for games on Gamepass? Is it a one off or does it depend on popularity?

Looks like a game that needs a run without rhythm button

And I'm willing to bet that because empty vessels make the most noise, it gets more vapid BS than it does reasoned debate in it's dataset.

And the British! We have to wait until most of bsky wakes up. It's kinda nice, like in the 90s when the internet slowed down at 2pm UK time because it was 9am on the East coast. We thank you and your fellow night owls for your service.

It's almost like we got used to "alternative facts" and so it became easier to model something that acts very like CERTAIN humans.

I feel oddly guilty when I tell someone I listened to an audiobook. Not like I can read when I'm driving but it still feels less somehow. Probably because I'm obviously not fully engaged like I am when reading. It feels like an insult to the author. I've heard authors saying they don't mind tho so..
