Mosquitos eat me like candy, but Thermacell is the only thing that has worked. I have the portable one and it works great. The only downside is that you need to get it running about 30 minutes before you want to be outside.

Ah yes. If punk means anything, it means pimping some of the richest companies in the world when they’re desperate for a use case for their garbage product nobody wants.

I think perhaps what the right doesn't understand about progressives is that we criticize the country because it never quite lives up to what its promise is. But that we love the country for what that promise is. And we just want the promise to be made real.

Rubber lids for cat food cans. I'd been doing foil for years til I learned these existed.

Yes! This is why I think games writing is akin to writing sitcoms or procedurals. Being fresh and entertaining within strict parameters is a satisfying creative challenge in itself.

Nah, just the most underrated state in Australia, other than the fact that you can't buy booze at Costco.

Hitman and The Killer are both great. The Killer also has a really good extended cameo at the end that I won’t spoil.

Part of the problem is that Hollywood doesn't aspire to much more than this itself.

Agreed, the final episode felt like everyone had to catch a plane. The reveal was interesting, but needed to breathe a bit.

Brad Lidge is up there. His impact was really only one year, but what a year.

So, so many! I can narrow it to two. Jeff Nichols has made the kind of movies that might translate really well to slow-paced narrative-heavy walking sims like Everybody's Gone To The Rapture or Gone Home. Mike Flanagan could write a banger of a horror game with depth.

Cowboys’ last Super Bowl writes on its kid’s Facebook page and thinks it’s a private message.

Same. I’d have him 2 or 3 spots higher but I’m not mad about the ranking. After the way Doug left, I’m just not sure how essential the head coach is to the way the Eagles do things.

Two invincible superheroes or wizards or whatever fighting to the death at the climax, and one of them wins for… reasons. A whole story made irrelevant because you just needed one guy to win and couldn’t figure out why.
