And so it should be. Lies should not be permitted in politics.
Deliberate lies in any kind of social media advertising should have same rules applied. It should attract large fines/criminal charge.
Intentional lying and misinformation on any social media platform should be a criminal offence.

Donation management 101.
Dissuade people from donating clothing and goods unless particular items are needed in the post-impact, short-term recovery and longer term recovery from disaster events.
Cash to reputable organisations is best course of action unless a call for specific items is made.

NZ High Commission building, which is co-located with the United States, France and the United Kingdom, has sustained significant damage.
45 New Zealanders registered on SafeTravel as being in #Vanuatu, though we expect there will be more who are not registered.
