Imagine you're in the national guard and you're urgently sent to quell an uprising and then you're just standing around looking bored while a hundred journalists film you and a guy in a dinosaur costume toddles around you like this is gonna be so great for troop morale no risk here at all.

What folks should watch for now is whether he’ll double down. In 2018, he later repeated his baseless allegation that his enemy was a pedophile and then tried to make that allegation true by attempting to plant bad information with a reporter (me). www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ryan...

"Gender critical" people aren't really feminists. Bioessentialist beliefs are the root of misogyny, and people who espouse such beliefs are complicit in their own oppression.

Thank you! I think he really wants the whip back, so is parrotting the party line. Luckily, my son's MP at university is a staunch ally and has spoken up on both these fundamental issues.

Gender critical activists should - by their own reasoning - be segregated and made to use separate loos. That would be (indirect) discrimination on account of a philosophical belief, but it could be considered a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim under the Equality Act.

You'd think somebody would actually do some basic journalism at these papers & realise that there have been more attacks on women in toilets by Gender Criticals since April than attacks by Trans Women since 2000, & ask why the government is actively supporting these attacks, which is a bigger story
