In Quebec, the whole sky is gray, the moon is close to zenith but looks orange because of the smoke. Looks like another bad year of stargazing.

Guy driving what would've counted as a light tank in WWII through a Boston alley: "Why doesn't the Tokyo car market import more American cars???

This is the main reason I never adhered to the separatist movement, despite a large portion of my family supporting it. Quebecer separatists blame migrants for not wanting to leave, but the fact that migrants feel more Canadian than Québécois is largely the Quebecers' fault.

I keep repeating this to people around me and all I get are angry people ranting that this isn't Europe; That we do things differently here because freedom and bigger cars and less crime and less taxes and then I stop listening. They are brainwashed into thinking our way is the better way.

I've been trying to start the conversation about moving the data and services at the company I work for out of Azure. They seem to think they are safe because they use data centers that are in Canada only. Also I think that they think I'm the tech equivalent of a dooms day prepper now.

With a neighbor like the US, we needed to grow spikes, like yesterday. It's not just an idea economic war. Trump got the ball rolling on imperialism for the foreseeable future. Some conservative influencers are talking manifest destiny like 1845. This isn't going away when Trump kicks the bucket.

It's considered cruel to seperate a puppy from its mother before 8 weeks of life. But it's okay the do that to a human baby and their mother because a grown up rich man needs her to become a tiny bit richer

It's crazy that even in Quebec, the social expectation is for dads to get back to work ASAP, even if we can split parental leave however we want.

I just finished the last of my 7 months of paternity leave, taken a few weeks at the time, over the course of the first 18 months of my youngest. I regret nothing. But I also realize how fortunate I am to have been able to both afford it, and have paid leave for the whole duration.

I'm wondering of they are even serious or if this is only a fake plan to blame de rest of the world for not joining, and then pull out of NATO or or the UN or something.

There is a 77km bike path that links 5 cities in my region. Sadly, it's an old railway, so it's very exposed to wind, only partly paved and used by snowmobiles in the winter. I would prefer it be converted into passenger rails tbh.

Also they would probably realize that the solution to getting denied raw materials isn't "more manufacturing jobs". It's like they're responding to a shortage of leather shoes by creating more shoemaker jobs while the actual problem is a shortage of leather.

People are getting kidnapped by "police", family are being destroyed, warmongering is ramping up, the rule of law is broken and people are literally dying or being endangered all over the world.

I hate every Americans for letting this and, all the other bad shit, happen. I don't care that most of them didn't vote for this because most of them aren't doing shit to stop this. They are complicit until they fix this.

The rich and powerful will always try to silence the voices of the people. The fight for our freedoms will never end, as exhausting and frustrating as it is. Your work matters, it always will. And we are listening.

A grown ass man sent me a link to Critical Drinker's video on the movie because it's funny how he dunks on it. I said I dont care to watch a video about the opinion of a grown ass man on a movie targetted for teenage girls. The movie wasn't made for me and it's fine!!! He never replied.

Looking like you just returned from town to see the Black Parade and saying these dumb with American soldiers behind him instead of, idk, Greenlanders. The message that sends is both chilling and moronic.
