My initial reaction was, “it’s an act,” but he’s so scatterbrained he probably has no idea what actually comes out of his mouth.

I’ll grant you, remorseful Trump voters probably filtered his campaign rhetoric through their own morals and values causing them to picture something different than what he was saying. But he was saying it and there were many red flags, so they must bear the guilt of what they brought into being.

Musk is toxic and will contaminate anything and everything with which he is associated. Making any overtures toward or agreements with him is dancing with the devil.

Candidate Trump said individual states, given proximity and better understanding of their citizens’ needs, would be far more responsive and effective in dealing with disasters. Mississippi MAGA voters cheered that, including this voter, I’m sure. “Time to put your money where their mouth is,” MAGA

Keep telling yourself that, Marco, but be assured their spirits will haunt you till your last breath. There is no absolution for what you are doing.

He misread “bulrushes” to say “bullsh*t” so now he thinks he comes from the same background as Moses.

She drank so much MAGA KookAde that she believes every lie that’s out there. Funny how her description of the puppy she shot as being ‘untrainable, aggressive to other living things, and a danger to children’ is actually a pretty good description of her.

The other outrage is, I have had to agree with Rand Paul on his strong statements against the tariffs and “gift” airplane.

She’ll be on Fox constantly, just like Bondi is.

I’m pretty sure they don’t want abortion regulated by the states, but that is their fall-back excuse on the overturning of Roe. They would pass a national ban in a sec if they could. The fact is, they want to pick and choose as it suits them or is in their interest.

Yeah, they’re so proud they hide behind masks.
comment in response to post
I would hazard a guess that ICE agents wear masks to avoid being identified and exposed on social media, and some are possibly ashamed to have neighbors, friends and family know what they’re doing. They also might be trying to avoid prosecution for “just following orders” which are clearly illegal.

It seems they are trying to provoke insurrection. Could they have a “solution” in search of a problem?

Wasn’t Columbia’s School of Journalism at one point considered the best in the country, and now they’re punishing student reporters for covering news stories?

hop·per1 /ˈhäpər/ noun 1. a container for a bulk material such as grain, rock, or trash, typically one that tapers downward and is able to discharge its contents at the bottom. I’m thinking “trash” in this case.

The provisions disallowing ballots that arrive after election day dovetail with the politicization of the postal service through installing a very partisan postmaster general and the plan to privatize it eventually. Ballots, especially from Democrat-leaning areas, will be intentionally delayed.

Roberts pretends he operates outside the problem of an executive branch running amok, but he ushered in the lawlessness by: thwarting justice for J6 and for stealing documents; giving the president immunity; and opening up the climate of bribery and personal enrichment by green lighting bribes.

A man with no principles. He should fit in just fine with the extreme things DeSantis and the FL legislators are putting in place

If limiting campaign contributions is an unconstitutional restriction on free speech, isn’t restricting access to petitions or limiting being able to collect signatures also an unconstitutional restriction?

The money lenders are back in full force and are more repugnant and blasphemous than when Jesus threw them out of the temple.

Harris must want a new stadium paid for with our tax dollars.

Nope. Better not. If I had access to this dummy I would shred my shoulders and break my hands as I vented the mere tip of my anger.

He pulled out the same stupid mixture about Gettysburg. His go-to word salad with BS dressing.

She apparently doesn’t READ news stories written by good journalists or she would know capitulation to Trump doesn’t get you what you think you’re getting. Cave now and in six months he’ll be demanding they act as a second propaganda network, a Fox 2.0.

The money Musk spent to help Trump win has been a great investment for him. Bigger contracts, increased control over programs and capabilities, and access to all our sensitive data will equal untold riches for him.

SCOTUS gave Trump immunity and re-defined “bribes” as “gratuities.” The maga dominated court is the LAST place we’re going find justice.

The difference, the red flag that made it abundantly clear a second Trump term was going to be terrible, is Project 2025. Campaign rhetoric is one thing; a written map is quite another. We warned people and were ignored or mocked. If he loses his business, he must look in the mirror for the cause.

They’re outraged because the restaurant no longer resembles the late 1800s, the time period they want us to go back to, especially women and minorities.

So, it appears Rubio is all in on the dictator president idea. If that’s what he wanted, he should have self-exiled to Cuba.

Amazon sells a variety of truck hanging balls. I wonder which ones he’ll select, the shiny silver ones or the glow in the dark ones?

My favorite part of this exchange is when Trump says, why won’t you just go ahead and say it’s there? It’s such a Big Brother moment.

I guess that special economist he cited in his book told him that making trade deals is a snap. In another part of their fantasy world, neither he nor Trump imagined any countries resisting Trump’s fantastic economic wizardry.

In her job she swore an oath to uphold the law. It did not have the carve out that she follow only the laws she personally agrees with. It really is a simple case against her no matter how many times she claims otherwise.

Rigged? How original. Their hubris won’t allow them to acknowledge people aren’t buying what they’re selling.

Trump’s response is as triggered and mindless as that of a cornered rabid raccoon. Completely predictable to claim the information is false, threaten an investigation, and tie it to election interference, somehow.

First accurate thing he’s said since he came down the golden escalator.

In the MAGA-verse, both facts and time are malleable. Just look at how the House recently defined a “day.” Believe any statement or timeframe Trump or his minions spout at your peril.

For goodness sake, take a lesson from what we are going through in the US! Educate yourself, open your eyes, use your good sense, and VOTE. You’re proud of being smart and capable people — prove it again tomorrow.

Marc Elias said that we should anticipate some splashy stunt to distract the base from all the court losses and chaos. The arrest of Judge Dugan fits the need.

Nothing shows how tarnishing a brand leads to irreparable harm than Tesla. Would this administration see and learn from that lesson right before them? Of course not.

My mama always said, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. Welcome to the raw reality of what you wished for, SHS and 64% of AR voters. For the other 36%, I’m sorry.

No doubt the administration is incompetent enough for the release to be a mistake, but even more than incompetent, they are cruel. They have paid her back for speaking against them by exposing her and her children to threat and torment, most likely with intentionality.

The EU is working out a trade deal with China, as are other countries. Trump envisioned the world crawling to him and begging for his benevolence; instead, world leaders are walking past and relegating Trump to the back of the room.

She cheered the federal cuts and agreed when Trump said states are better able to take care of their own problems. Suck it up, SHS, you got what asked for, and your, “Oh, wait, I need an exception,” is lame. We all know if a blue state were asking for aid, you would be saying, “ Don’t give it.”

The administration thinks the rest of the world is as easily manipulated and lied to as the MAGA base. They’re wrong.

I’m not a lawyer, but I can recognize a delay tactic when I see it.
comment in response to post
It’s the same play book Trump’s legal teams always follow — delay, delay, delay. It works every time. The judges bluster about it but never punish it. Either slap serious contempt charges on the lawyers, as in, have them escorted to a cell, or just drop the case, because they’re going to keep it up

I’m pretty sure my German relatives would refuse to take an all-expenses paid trip to the US, much less spend their money here. They are both appalled and angered by what Trump is doing to the US and the entire world.
