i spent hours iterating on flakes to try other environments and they all experience the same bug. something happens preventing the gpu from being properly recognized by sddm/gdm/cosmic greeter, sometimes, and causes a black screen, no ttys either

basically no similar issues from anyone else on the internet, across any distro. closest i can find is always with nvidia users. fucking fuck, man

i haven't been able to find anything related. i just need to keep an eye out because i'm experiencing both periodic partial-screen flickering and confirmed amdgpu crashes that take down the whole system
