What's happening is a falling put between branches of fascism. Carlson is a white supremacist, but he was always a protectionist/isolationist one. He hates foreign interventions and he's weirdly consistent about it while still having terrible motives for his opinions.

If I were Mark Gongoloff I'd be mad at Bloomberg for the headline.
His point is that we need to fix large-scale factory farming and the effects it has on the climate. He used the AI bit as a lead-in to grab attention. Pulling it out that way makes him sound pro-AI, instead of anti-factory farm.

But they won't, that's the point. If a racist says something unspeakably awful but they say it politely, and you reply to them that their statement is racist, the powers that be will generally view them as civil and you as not.
