I never thought I would own a house, but with some inheritance from my grandma, I started thinking about it. But now it's not looking likely. My two kids and I will live in apartments that rent at 2x what they did 10 years ago and eat up over half of my paycheck.

I think my pick sounds like a Brave Saint Saturn song, so I can really picture Reese singing it.🪐

As a long time public defender/criminal defense attorney, I can think of only two clients ever who talked to the cops & walked out of trial not guilty. Two. Out of hundreds who talked. Talking to the cops gets you prison time. Miranda said shut the fuck up. Listen to Miranda.

Reeled him in, did they? What a catch! If it doesn't work out, there's plenty of fish in the sea.

for people who chose surgery, and puts a value on that, and is for people of a binary gender, erases the liminal space between knowledge and physical realization, etc etc, but you may have something here, there is now enough space to wiggle the wedge in.

I feel like in my youth (pre Y2K) the term "had a sex change" seemed more definitive than today's "identifies as." The deed was done, and you had to accept that this person emerged from the change and was a man or woman now. I suppose this is a privilege for those who can afford a quick transition,

I've lived in Milton Keynes, with redways such that bikes almost never have to interact with cars, and London, where I wouldn't dare drive, much less ride a bike. When you build a city from scratch, you can make it safest for bikes. I've also lived in Eugene, OR, where my friend has been hit twice.

I saw a guy at a bike day at a science museum, who had a fly swatter and a sign that said "S.W.A.T. the car that messes with the bike." I imagine him riding around spanking cars on the trunk with the fly swatter.

The second collection is on race relations (see below). Access through the state’s interface has been turned off, and unless a school, library or university pays out of their own pocket, their patrons or students won’t be able to access the content. (+1) www.ebsco.com/products/res...

Other states/universities surely have databases that lead to the same research. If they make the research available to anyone, well...

I WISH he played as much as he claims to, so he wouldn't have time to dismantle the country.

This is a picture of someone wearing a shirt that says "good trouble" and carrying a sign that says "I like my government like I like my coffee: nowhere near my VAGINA"
