I rode the 505 to canvass today at rush hour. 35 minutes to go 3km. Reminder that street parking along Dundas was removed as a pilot project, then the city just...put them back in. 🙃🙃🙃

ur better off just turning off money entirely & treat this game like a sandbox. the programming is way too car-centric (vanilla roads are minimum 40km/h for e.g.), makes transit way too costly to run. also get mods & pray for ur hardware, i recommend reading this link

Man, Toronto really needs more vibrant & colourful pedestrianized areas like the one on the left. I feel like Kensington's the only major example of that kind of place here, which really sucks. More colours = better public spaces!

It's important to not lose hope, and I know that being a doomer is not helpful, but imo, the average Gen Zer hasn't been given much reason to vote. So that leaves the Ford supporters in our age bracket, who is more likely to show out, as evidenced by the poll. (4/5)

the Libs/NDP have not had a kind of leader who could overpower Ford's discourse and bring something new. I've known Crombie's politics since she was Sauga's mayor and she's very much PC-lite imo. Stiles has barely gotten exposure, and the Greens face an uphill battle the size of the Himalayas. (3/5)

Why would ppl vote for the Libs/NDP if they aren't given much exposure to the parties' platform/leaders? The fundamental problem right now is Ford IS the show. He's damn near inescapable. You can only take so much of him before you start feeling jaded towards any local politics (2/5)

the feeling I get is ppl our age is indifferent to city/provincial politics in general. Perhaps because some of us are too busy trying to find work (instead of what Ford insinuated), but it's also that the Libs & NDP don't have a strong enough leader that can out-discourse Ford. (1/5)

I would've stayed in parliament if I could 😅, unfortunately I spent way too long looking for the STO shelter because there were no signage (to my knowledge) leading there 😭

I stayed in Gatineau for the holidays. Had a nasty surprise when my presto got refused on the STO bus to dt Ottawab🙃🙃
I also took issue with the lack of a terminal outside Parliament stn, where all the STO busses congregate. Waiting for 20 mins in an unheated bus shelter when it's -20 wasn't fun

I'd highly suggest using a blue light filter on your screens if you haven't already! Also shutting off screens would help (aka NO SOCIAL MEDIA LADY REST YOUR EYES!!)
