after code-splitting in react, i wondered how each chunk would access react's apis without pulling in the entire lib. learnt today that webpack creates a “vendor” chunk for shared deps like react. lot to learn in frontend still. 😨

building a basic file explorer in react was fun. i think i am gonna revive my dead blog and write an article on what my intuition was when i came across this problem, how i struggled and how the actual solution was so clean and elegant. first time i wrote a recursive component.
