In subdued and grieving mode this week as stepfather-in-law passed at the end of February and the funeral was this past weekend. February has been a $#$%$(! sucky month in our family, to say the least. Not a good track record for elderly loved ones in that month.

It's a sad anniversary today for our family. My 90+ mom passed away two years ago from congestive heart failure. Our sadness is extra compounded as my spouse's elderly stepfather recently began receiving hospice care for similar heart and other medical issues beyond modern medicine's capabilities.
