They were all angry at what Starmer said. Some, like my kid, are citizens. Others are working towards citizenship. They will be able to vote in a couple of years. They won’t be voting Labour b/c they know Labour doesn’t represent them & b/c they’re racist. No amount of backpedalling will change that

Nope. Nope. Nope. He’s a lawyer, he knows words count. They mean something. Lawyers choose their words carefully. He knew what he was saying and why. He’s alienated a whole lot of immigrants like me. And he’s alienated our kids. Most of my daughter’s friends are all immigrants or kids of immigrants…

Do you buy that the speech writers didn’t know what they were echoing?

The #abc is now a subsidiary of Murdoch media. All staff, in particular "managment" are beholden to Murdoch, Stokes and Costello. They even give the bastards taxpayers money.

The ABC itself has now become a threat to democracy.
A national broadcaster should be fearless in the face of power, political & vested interests.
But the ABC does the opposite. It bullies or sacks journalists who tell the truth.
The ABC is now working for vested interests, not the public #auspol

True, but they're the ones currently with the power and the mandate to get it fixed.

Now they are not being "wedged" and the msm losing influence. We can see the true ALP.

imagine the carry on if Albanese dropped the F bomb, our msm are beside themselves with all things Trump, they never question anything he says or does.
The constant cheerleading for this moron from Aussie media is pathetic

Long sickened by the media and political class and their obsessions. Still somewhat surprised at the lack of push back. A few individuals here and there speaking out, besides that it seems as though we're happily galloping to war.

No. But don't worry because we're paying the Americans $400 billion for the privilege of storing their nuclear waste. So there's some positives I guess.

They're letting him say a little bit so the rusties have something to point at. That's all it is.

Let's see if we can "nuance" our way through a genocide.

It's not just a Trump problem. Half the US electorate is out of the democracy game. That's not a short-term, lets-just-survive-this-madman issue. It's a long-term problem. We're hitching ourselves to a burning fucking wagon loaded with TNT.

Buying American bombs to drop from American planes - equipment which we do not have ultimate control over. A preposterous state of affairs.

Teach the adults to recognise dodgy content and the make-up of parliament would be starkly different.

With their scale, each yeah they get another 10 years of development. Will be absolutely wild to see what they have in 5 years.

We're providing military equipment and intel. That seems like a significant statement to me.

It got worse today. Total pro war, the US has a take on international law that says pre emptive self defence is ok etc.

Lol. Sally was happy to sack elected officials after a few allegations.
The current NSW gov is decimating the public service and the unions are helping them.

They do vet them. If you're ringing up to tell the truth they won't let you on.

Scomo is too scared to have that vote. He knows what the answer would be.

Is it irony that we are trying to buy nuclear weapons submarines off the country that might bomb us pre-emptively so we don't use them?

Labor have got behind genocide, ecocide and now war. Yet they maintain this hypnotic power that has far too many Australians still believing “they’re doing their best”. If you behave exactly as if you’re in a secret death cult maybe you are 🤷
