He specifically mentions the attack from Ukraine. But never specifically mentions any attack from Russia, that is just ā€œboth sides.ā€

I was actually a little disappointed. They were neither as cute nor as squishy as I’d hoped.

This is what happens when they all stop sharing a house. Without all those closets they run out of shirts.

It’s a German colloquial term ā€œgrass widow.ā€ Someone who is separated from their spouse temporarily. So they’re just hanging out with the cat I guess.

These are the same chumps that whined endlessly about the ACA being too long and claimed Pelosi said they had to pass it to see what’s in it. šŸ™„

If Jesus’ birth were to have happened today he’d have been born in West Bank. There’s some food for thought.

It’s funny how cute they are. They look so angular and built for speed…. But in reality they’re just the softest creatures. Fantastic dogs. All dogs are fantastic, but there is just something special about sighthounds.

Wow. He looks so much like my boy when he was younger. My Siri is almost 19, and we’re reaching the end of our wonderful time together so seeing this on my skyline just made my heart race and my face smile. Greyhounds are just the most magical goofs.

I have a tiny shepherd that looks SO MUCH like your corgi that I briefly thought this was a picture of him and wondered how you got it!

I gotta say…. Some of them do start sounding like this. Happened to me a while back. Was talking to someone I’d known for over a decade and slowly realizing they’d gone MAGA and I know my face had that ā€œoh…. My god?ā€ Look because it was just wild, like his brain was leaking out while I watched.

But instead we opted for full kakistocracy and being able to say our individual hands are clean while we use our clean fingertips to tap angrily into the social media about how it isn’t our fault. No single raindrop is to blame for the flood.

At the very least, I think Netanyahu would have been too busy dealing with his own corruption issues and his own inter-admin squabbles to lean fully into his own final solution.

Biden’s position was slightly more open to diplomatic pressure though. Harris, I thought, signaled as much as she could that her administration would be more firm. I think under her hand we might have limited them to defensive weapons and support.

The thing is, the US is (and has always been) allied to Israel for multiple reasons. Mainly now because it’s basically our forward base in the Middle East, which brings us back to Russia and China. So there’s no option where we cut our support of Israel, at least not until we’re not the US anymore.

What I don’t get is…. When it all goes exactly how the CBO says it will, and everything is more expensive, and inflation gets worse, and we are in a recession, and then the unemployment numbers go up, and everyone loses their insurance and watches their grandma die… what’s their big lie going to be?

Like. She’s arguing that some kids just gotta die and me disagreeing is just being self-righteous. And like. Gotta say, these people make me feel a pretty big, smoking crater where my faith in humanity used to live. Sigh. I should just go to bed.

Eh sorry. I’m feeling bleak tonight. Just had a woman on Facebook tell me my belief that we shouldn’t kill children, regardless of where they’re born, was a ā€œpedestal of moral superiority that never solved anything.ā€ I look and her page is all ā€œpro-lifeā€ and MAGA brain rot.

The only chance we might do anything to pause it died in November. And, at best, that was just pausing it until the next time it started up again. Even a pause would have saved lives, and would be preferable to what will come. Which will be an end, just the most horrific end.

My first thought was ā€œfuckitty bye.ā€ My second thought was ā€œoh, that wasn’t very nice.ā€ My third thought was ā€œI don’t think I’m going to cook tonight, what do I have in the freezer?ā€

Back of the neck and head. For some it can also be in the jaw area, it just depends on where it’s coming from. For what it’s worth, I have a family member that had gotten so bad they were almost daily. Botox in the neck/head got her down to maybe one in a month or two. Life changing.

A beautiful friend. Thank you for sharing him. ā™„ļø When I said goodbye to mine two years ago, writing his obituary was hard… but also a privilege. I thought getting to tell people about him one more time was his last gift to me. I was wrong though, he returns daily in my memories to gift me forever.

I similarly don’t patronize most on your list, but in honestly I didn’t before they showed their asses. I will say two brands I loved but no longer touch are Il Makiage and Moroccan Oil. Both Israeli companies and I just can’t spend money on things that end up supporting that government.
