Tired and thriving. She/her. Designer in Toronto. I want more bike lanes, accessibility, cleaner air, justice, and more musical Star Trek episodes.

The extent to which I have completely lost my own sense of a personal style is kinda devastating. I’ve never been a very stylish person, but I feel good when I like my clothes and the way they fit.

Please sign and stop this guy from screwing over the Indigenous peoples and our endangered species. #ONPoli #DougFraud

Some from k-12, some from after. And by after I mean I met them on the Internet via shared hyperfixations and they stuck around somehow. 🥲

I've never seen it so well put before.

Perfect, no notes.

So I’m binge watching Grey’s Anatomy because I stopped watching around 2015 and that’s like ten years of television and what I find hilarious is how post-covid all the babies shown are weird robot dolls, lmao.

user experience design

"Your life should not be a museum." "Being alive is as special an occasion as it gets."

Cows, welcome etc. etc.

A lot of people didn't grow up watching Mister Rogers & Sesame Street every day & it shows

Also, stop making jokes about "giving" Alberta to Trump like some sort of "good riddance." ALL of Alberta is covered by Treaty lands - it's 5 btw, not just 3 - and Indigenous Peoples are not some sort of invisible collateral damage to be forgotten about in this colonizer foolishness.

Say it with me: Disabled people deserve to live even if they can’t work.

Today, I am 40. 🌸😌🎂

Its also fascinating because it uses enormous amounts of government subsidies to make it possible

I’m sad that Bhutila Karpoche didn’t win a seat.

Man, there are a lot of good NDP MPs losing their seats tonight.

The fact that they’re tracking autism and not the bird flu automatically tells you they’re operating on eugenics and not actually wanting people to be healthy. They want you sick, disabled, or dead.

We’ve reached the “do I even need to sleep?” And the “what happens if I just drop this food on the floor?” Stages of babyhood. Close to crawling. No teeth in sight.

Gélineau advanced the term "narcolepsy" in 1880 while de la Tourette described his eponymous syndrome in 1885. "Autism" was coined by Bleuler in 1911, with full diagnoses soon after. But what do I know? I'm not the Cabinet secretary in charge of the goddamn Department of Health and Human Services.

Canada needs a simple and consistent way to discern between bad-faith propaganda outlets and people who do journalism, or this is going to continue to get worse. This isn't about left versus right. You can do good journalism from a conservative perspective. It's about your goals and processes.

There is no ethical way to enjoy Harry Potter at this point. I'm sorry, but if you are old enough to know better and you buy her stuff, you're complicit. It sucks. I get it. But she is using what you give her to do unfathomable evil. If you value trans lives, there's no other choice here.

Absurd Beast. Like an animatronic got loose

Doug Ford says cancelling therme contract not on table because mob will put him in lake

Many thanks to @cycletoronto.bsky.social for the bike tuneup yesterday at my local Community Environment day! 🚲

It’s such a strange experience raising a baby in 2024/2025 vs 2020/2021. This baby has countless interactions with neighbours on elevators, attended a kindergarten birthday party, went with me grocery shopping at 4 weeks, and just came with me on a local bus ride.

This is the simplest and perhaps the most important question in urban design. Toronto has been getting it backwards for 20 years.

For Canada: Liberals are cons who know a gay guy The Greens: cons who ride bikes (Elizabeth May is anti abortion and did a coup to retake power of a party she's only managed to ever get 2 seats for in 30 years) The NDP: Cons who are in a teacher's union Bloc Québécois: Cons but Frenchily

This is the most depressing federal election I have ever watched. After years working inside Canadian political circles, I now see more clearly from the outside there is a political capture and proximity-to-power problem fueling a lot of this. #cdnpoli rant incoming!

Gosh I have a cute baby
