Thought: I'm fine with federal employees "ducking their heads" right now to keep their jobs. As long as they're willing to pop back up when it matters. It helps no one for people of conscious to be removed from the administration in an early purge or mass exodus.

I've been thinking about it. I think the mistake we made as a society is that since the 50s, we've taught WWII history from the point we entered the war. In reality, the real lesson in there is the history of how Hitler came to power and the German people didn't see it coming.
