surprised if ICE is giving women detainees forced hysterectomies like they did during Trump's first four-year epic fail. Trump has gone to a new level of Machiavellianism: beyond "it's better to be feared and loved," all the way to "you WILL fear me AND love me."

Guantanamo Bay, and god only knows what else, all designed to cause terror and fear. Fear of coming to the US, fear of opening the door if the cops show up, fear of being grabbed off the street and shipped off to El Salvador or South Sudan or some country they've never been to. FFS I wouldn't be

I am cautiously optimistic that there are enough Republican senators & reps who know that the larger the Medicaid cuts, the lower their chances of re-election, which means they'll have to cut the three Rs who voted against it completely out of the process and negotiate with the Democrats. 🤞

Oh, come on now. Everybody knows working class people pay taxes for the privilege of subsidizing billionaires who pay us poverty wages and expect us to thank them for it. Silly. 😉

White collar crime was deprioritized over a hundred freaking years ago. Trump's just rubbing it in our faces.

Can you even read? I said there won't be a constitution left to amend by the time Trump is gone. If you want to argue the logistics of it, do it with somebody else. I was merely pointing out some things that I'd like to see happen when this shit is over. If we have to start from scratch, so be it.

Again, I didn't say anything about a constitutional convention. Don't repost my content if you're just going to straw-man argue against it.

No branch of government should be any weaker or stronger than any other. That's the whole point of having separate branches of government.

When Trump is done destroying the constitution, there won't BE a constitution left to amend. I also didn't say anything about the courts being the only guardrail; in fact, I specifically said that becoming a states party to the Rome Statute would be additional protection against tyranny.

Seems like the courts are the only ones holding the line against Trump so far. And by the time Trump is gone, there will be nothing left of the constitution, so there will be no need to follow current procedures regarding a constitutional convention, which I never called for anyway.

We've got time to turn things around. The fight just started, and you're already admitting defeat.

--With the abolition of the Senate, the responsibility of confirming federal judge nominees will fall to the House, where a 2/3 majority should be required to ensure nominees are knowledgeable, qualified, and unbiased.
