It's hard when you get older but just having a hobby where you see people a few times a week and have a reason to get out of the house helps a lot. Then I had to move to another state lol.

I had all but given up on mine, but you and a handful of other folks have me inspired to start back up again.

A lot of these people only care about takes and don't really give a fuck about making the world a better place.

Amazing band. Shocking how creative one dude can be.

If you don't it will literally poison your existence and eat you from the inside out.

Yep. This happened with my mom, and then my grandfather after my grandmother died. I will accept their apology if they reach out and will be open to talk. But I am not offering myself up to be hurt and discarded again from someone who never valued me in the first place.

Yep. The decision was not mine, so it goes. I know it will hurt either way, but I kind of accepted it was a lost cause a few years ago.

Yeah or if they just joined forces in October Tide.

Also, Credence is the prettiest Opeth Ballad IMO.

I think it's mine too, it is unlike anything else. The run from Morningrise to Damnation in general is pretty much unparalleled to me.

Probably my favorite Opeth Intro of all time.

Yeah the addition of Brian Cook on bass is 🔥

Yes indeed. Fucking love that record, some of their others did not resonate with me as much but Oceanic and Panopticon are 10/10 no skip albums to me.

The bass lines in The Beginning and the End are eternally comforting.

Ahh, the old Golden Handcuff. Classic capitlism dillema.

I feel like he had one really great vocal performance on Reign In Blood and decided to phone it in the rest of their career.

When it grooves and actually has cool riffs, it can be fun (first Machine Head album). Most of the time, I'd rather listen to Suffocation. There is not a Pantera riff ever conceived that fucked with anything on Effigy of The Forgotten.

Fuck that guy. People are such assholes.

Would be a shame if there was a 5 min long funeral doom section in this grind song.

Yeah I can barely scream for more than like 3-4 seconds bursts now because I don't have the lungs for it anymore lol.

I think I literally just tried to imitate them listening along to Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel songs I downloaded on Limewire haha. Recently saw Pig Destroyer and the breath control and projection that JD has is amazing, especially considering how loud they are.

Death and black metal vocals are really easy to do and not very technically demanding. Grind and hardcore vocals are another story.

A masterpiece of stupid cinema! Love it.

I used to hate that part until I got to the Bullshit, uh I mean, Nightmare Frontier.

When she slides it IN, even.
