Loved the demo, want to play this, but I think my dance card is full fit the rest of the year. I'll keep my eyes open for a sale though.

I would play a Metroid Warriors game. Dynasty Warriors Gundam exists, so a shooting based Warriors game isn't completely impossible (Samus is already in a fighting game anyway). And they can dig deep in the lore for characters.

I'd love to see Cranky be playable. Or for the Rambi kart to return. Or hell, the Cow's playable. Make Rambi playable. Espresso and Enguarde too. They would all be my new mains.

I'm glad Amazon Canada didn't have any problems with Nintendo. That's where I ended up getting my Switch 2 from.

Can we get a re-release of Unleashed? I'd love to play it.

Now this is something I will always agree with. I know a lot of people in game dev say it's essential for recruiting and attracting stakeholders, but there has to be a discreet way of doing that without getting fans' hopes up.

To be fair, we HAVE seen it since then, just not in the way the devs wanted. Which is probably why it's taking so long.

Thank you! I've always found the idea of top 10 lists strange (and I used to be paid to write them). I love the games that I love, and new games are added to that category all the time. I can't put them in any kind of order either because some days I'm in the mood for something different.

And by "Playlists" I of course mean listening to Piranha Plant's Lullaby on repeat for seven hours.

I'm hoping that Nintendo just wanted to get a Minimum Viable Product out the door in time for launch and QoL features like that are on their way. I don't have the game yet, but I would LOVE to be able to build my own playlists for my free-roam roadtrips and Knockout Tours.

I think it's a matter of perspective and preference. DK and Kirby Air Riders alone make this lineup a W for me.

As much as I love weird BrickHeadz, Buggy getting one over Zoro or Nami is criminal. I do think his hat looks fun to build though.

My only complaint about the guest characters is that I wish they were more Sega-oriented. If Miku counts as a Sega character, so does Aladdin or the T-Rex from Jurassic Park. ... wait, I want that now.
comment in response to post
Not me. I desperately wanted Crossworlds to be another Sega All Stars game. If I had my way, the guest characters would be so much worse/better. Every playable protagonist from every House of the Dead game would be playable. Vectorman would be there.

Been looking forward to this one since the reveal trailer.

Looking forward to Katamari and Endless Dungeon! I'm not a multiplayer shooter guy, but I might try Firebreak.

This is absolutely canonically something Guy Gardner would do. I would not be shocked if he has done it.

With a new Shinobi game coming out a little under a month before this one, I'm genuinely surprised Joe Musashi isn't confirmed yet. Especially since the man canonly has a jet-powered surfboard.

I kinda figured that DLC characters wouldn't get rival dialogue. Disappointing, but not unexpected. My big remaining questions are: 1. Does the Werehog count as a DLC character? 2. Will DLC characters still get voice lines period?

A rare occasion when the people cringing online are actually right to do so.

I'm talking both about launch lineups and game presentations. People will bash a state of play or direct if there's only 2 or more games they're not interested in. All I need is one that looks kinda cool to love it.

I'm not gonna pretend that more games is a bad thing, but I do hate the abundance of choice has led to people forgetting how to appreciate A game. People will see one excellent game and seriously say "Okay, but what else?" Brother, what else do you need??
comment in response to post
As much as I hate live-service games, I never like seeing people lose their jobs (unless their job is Royal Puppy Torturer). I hope the people laid off are able to land on their feet.

"A werewolf Hedgehog with stretchy arms is just too silly!" It's only slightly more silly than a blue Hedgehog who runs fast, calm down.

I mean racing through Kamurocho would be incredible.

We're going to the end of the horizon with this one, boys!

The flames of heated competition after such a sweet moment had me rolling. I thought that 90% of rival dialog would be generic trash talk, but I like that it looks to be personalized for each combination of characters. Wonder if that'll apply to dlc characters too.

So we need one this year though? I feel like we've been spoiled for Nintendo announcements this year. Unlike previous years, I'm not wondering what else Nintendo is going to release before year's end.

At the risk of sounding like part of the problem, I LOVE reading leaks. As far as I'm concerned it's no different from any prerelease marketing. It's very rare that I see a new movie now without thoroughly reading its TV Tropes page first.

You should do Orta from Panzer Dragoon and give her a car shaped like the Blue Dragon. Actually no, you're right. That's too risky a move. Besides, Nintendo said you would never be brave enough to try it.

The lack of voice lines is worrying me. I know he's post-launch DLC, but the lack of voice lines makes it feel like he's not supposed to be there, which makes me feel weird about picking him.

As someone who absolutely despises most FPS games, this guy perfectly embodies what I used to think FPS players were like. I had recently convinced myself that no one that stereotypically jock-coded actually exists. Ha.

Which is why I find the guest characters from non-Sega things like Minecraft so annoying (not that I'm not gonna play as them). Sega needs to remind everyone that they have IP on par with Nintendo or Capcom. All the guests should be Sega characters.
comment in response to post
Devil's advocate here, Nintendo doesn't need to do a Super Smash Kart. I'd like them too, but they'll survive if they don't. Sega NEEDS to do another All-Star Racing Transformed. Especially with them trying to reestablish their vast library of IP. And it can't just be Yakuza or Persona either.
comment in response to post
I don't think I'm asking for much. I just want Joe Musashi, someone from Golden Axe, someone from Crazy Taxi, and someone from something silly, like Altered Beast or Jambo Safari. As long as you tick those boxes at minimum, you can fill the rest with as many Yakuza or Atlus characters as you want.

And just imagine how much they would have sold if they let me buy one. ... they would have sold over 3 million and one.

I've never even played Unleashed, and I preordered for this boy.

My favorite track in the network test. I always placed high with Omega here.

Thank you for letting us know and for handling it much more discreetly than the other site did. Do I have incredibly mixed feelings about these leaks? Yes. Am I still going to take advantage of the things in these leaks when the game comes out? To a concerning degree, yes.
