Nice video looking at history of Ethernet standards. I remember mid-90s working with legacy “thick net”, “thin net”, UTP Ethernet with hubs (collisions and broadcast storms!), & token ring (FDDI). And a CTO who later bought into ATM to the desktop! What a mess… youtu.be/f8PP5IHsL8Y?...

This may be of interest to the radio community in the UK: Radio4 LW 198kHz switch off date isn’t official from what I can find, but this information from OFGEM says that the “radio teleswitch” (RTS) service is due to end 30th June 2025 which depends on the 198kHz signal.
