12MB, but I desperately need more......

This system has 4MB RAM onboard and had a 4MB SIMM, I just found a compatible 8MB SIMM to take it to 12MB - but I really would like to add a 32MB to max it out, with all this software and services I've installed it needs more memory.

Tonight, I'll be mainly surfing the internet like it's 1993, love that little WiFi tool for the BlueSCSI! ๐Ÿ‘

I just setup a Mac OS System 7 hd image in Basilisk II, mainly to get StuffIt installed and copy over the BlueSCSI toolbox. I'm ready to test my BlueSCSI V2 in my Mac LC III (Performa 450). Let's see if it works!

I found this printer cable in one of the boxes, kind of makes sense to do a little networking between the two machines, to see if I can get filesharing between them up and running.

The other machine has had a fresh install of System 7.5 as well, both working well.

I actually have a BlueSCSI V2 in a SPARCstation, I may try it out.

Perfect, there's so many background patterns in 7.5, this is all sorted now, I just need to figure out an easy way to get files on and off this thing.

All done, now let's reboot.....

Last little bit now, finishing Disk 7 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ No hiccups so far: I wrote these floppy disks using a USB floppy drive and DD in Linux.

Seems to be going well, onto Disk 2

I've never installed System 7 before, so I'm kind of winging it and hoping for the best. I used Disk Tools to wipe the SCSI drive and that went ok.

Let's nuke this mother flipper!

So, randomly an Option 3) popped up, about 3 miles away from my house, so I guess I'm going for a short drive tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Š Exciting!

Today I've been pondering two options: 1) A really good condition ADB Mouse & Keyboard, for around ยฃ50. 2) An LC II (suspect motherboard is damaged) that comes with an ADB mouse and keyboard, but is not in good condition, the seller sent me an offer of ยฃ60. - I declined 1) & 2)๐Ÿค”
