Take. My. Money.

You know what's great about git? Not just that it won the source control ubiquity war, but also that it logs what you did and when. A🧵of indeterminate length

Wanna play #Doom with #csharp? I know of two options: - DoomSharp github.com/wcabus/doom-... - Hellion github.com/Helion-Engin... And both are great.

I absolutely loved last week's chaos stream and am looking forward to another incredibly productive stream where nobody swears and Copilot works for everyone. 🤣

This entire thread between Barry and Maddy.

I really enjoyed this episode. Keep up the great work @tftblpod.bsky.social! (And I promise not to bring up that I'm replaying through the OG version rather than the, apparently, superior Golden version)

I started reading The Player of Games a few days ago. It's my first Banks novel. It was standard fair until about the half way mark. Then suddenly boom!

And very well deserved, too. It's a fantastic book that all software devs/engineers/coders should read.

How do I know that it's summer? Certainly not because of the weather (I live in England). The only, sure fire way, to know that it's summer is when the @chillhop.com Summer essentials is up for preorder. chillhop.bandcamp.com/album/chillh...

This. Regardless of who they are, if you like the stuff people make, shout out about it and how great it is.

May was a bit of a quiet month for me, music wise. Most of this was either gym soundtrack (Royal Republic, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and Tokyo Jihen) or intense study sessions (everything else) #Musicolet #May2025 #MostPlayed

Unsolicited #podcastRecommendation for you all: @realmsunknown.bsky.social (hosted by @alicefraser.bsky.social). If you're interested in science fiction, speculative fiction, or fantasy then you really should be listening to this show.

A gear suggestion thread for a family member. Please read the whole thread before suggesting as there's a lot of explanation behind their requirements. First, the TL;DR must be Windows 11, must be 16GB of RAM (or higher), must have TPM 2.0 🧵

I just read the following quote from Mel Robbins, presented as if it were good advice. It makes me shudder: “You’ll never feel ready to change your life. One day you just get tired of your own excuses and force yourself to do it.” There is so much badness in that single sentence. 1/10
