Whether I don't use one shitty Microsoft communications product or two shitty Microsoft communications products has no bearing on my day to day.

I tell my kids they need to read so they don't grow up and vote Republican.

World hunger has nothing to do with the quantity of food that exists. There is plenty of food and plenty of money, now. Growing cows is terrible and wasteful, of course, but we're not feeding hungry people not due to a lack of resources but because we don't want to, as a society.

Oh good. I was saying to the wife this morning that what this situation could really use is more billionaires.

Excellent points, in particular in terms of this thing happening on Bluesky right now where people on the same side (freedom and stuff) are just dunking on each other. Stop asking what so-and-so is doing about this, and start thinking about what you can do about this. In real life. Where it matters.

This is going to be a really interesting book in fifty years. If books still exist then.

Canada is our biggest export partner. So, that's cool. Thanks JD!

You should start referring to him as "Unelected South African Born Oligarch With No Actual Authority To Do Any Of This Elon Musk."

Tells us to worship the free market, cries when the free market doesn't like him. What a snowflake.

Maybe we should just stop eating animals, and all of these issues that crop up due to factory farming will just go away.

Does anybody else *really* dislike this habit of embedding Twitter posts in articles? Stop given him the traffic. If you need to reference a Twitter post in the article, and quoting it won't do, take five seconds and take a screenshot.

I'm sitting here looking at a fat IRS bill thinking do I even need to really pay this? I certainly don't think that I *should*.

Like making Betsy DeVos Secretary of Education during his first reign. Putting people who want to dismantle the systems in a position to do so is the plan.

Been following the journey and can't wait to try it. Thanks for the recipe!

You don't have to consent or not consent, they're doing it. Congress needs to act, yesterday, forcefully. They gave you the Project 2025 playbook a long time ago. They said exactly what they were going to do, and now they are doing it. There are no surprises here.

Maybe we should question, as a society, if it makes sense for it to even be *possible* to have banks so big that they can crash our economy.
comment in response to post
When do we all just agree that these banks simply Should. Not. Exist?

But geez maneez I am just completely over cloud everything all the time, and this death by a thousand cuts. Let's go back to stupid loud servers in our garages again.
