Very nice. Especially after a few monstrosities recently. 😃

*New* nuclear ain't green.
Obsolete, over-expensive technology; a business plan that deliberately excludes the cost of guarding spent materials for hundreds of thousands of years; a promise to spend taxpayers' money to buy electricity at a price far higher than forecast free market renewables.

Side note: 3,000 imperial pounds = 1.36 tonnes. Curiosity satisfied. Dontcha just love industrial archaeology? 🙂

Not sure how feeding children to 3000lb (whatever that is in modern?) techbro death machines is any kind of advance, but okay... 😬

The Reith-Goebbels BBC mission to inform Nazis, educate Nazis and entertain Nazis.

All the worse coming from that self-righteously parsimonious prick Rutte, who practically soldered his country's wallet shut when he was in charge of it.

"Let's take a classic independent occupation and turn it into a billionaire techbro monopoly!"
Or, y'know: let's not.
Your disdain for the human condition of taxi drivers is noted.

Y'all need to get out more and talk to actual Centrists. Especially outside your frankly bizarrely right-wing country. 😉
Maybe you are where you are today coz you fetishise an C18th Constitution, you gerrymander, you have an undemocratic voting system, you allow billionaires to buy politicians...

There's a point at which the hypothesis of Labour Incompetence becomes so improbably enormous that we have to switch to a hypothesis of Labour Complicity.
One (further) drawback of an undemocratic UK duopoly being that a foreign actor can more easily subvert 2 parties than 5 or 7.

Vegan fish fingers are avaliable.
You can also find vegan prawns, calamari rings, squid, crab sticks, salmon fillets, smoked salmon, and breaded or unbreaded fillets of white fish.
That said, you have to dig a little to find shops selling these, and some countries are a lot better than others.

Tories: regretting they didn't do more to harm trans people.
Labour: making a point of harming trans people.
Reform: plotting even greater harm for trans people.

Membership of the ECHR is a requirement of both the B/GFA (Good Friday Agreement) and the EU:UK TCA (EU free trade agreement).
So, yeah, the brakes will be off, but so will your food supply, so I would anticipate a pretty damn swift end to such shenanigans. 😬
