I can see my dad heading down this route. He's always got something to say about the trans community. And not in a good way. 5 or 6 years ago and I don't think he'd have even heard the word trans. Now, for some reason it's a major concern of his.

What we really need is having caring taken seriously as a role by senior managers. Carers get terrible wages and terrible conditions. Looking after the infirm should be a cherished position, but bottom of the ladder.

Sorry, no. Being silent in the face of racism, sexism etc now is giving permission for people to carry on with it. Being silent or ignoring it is no longer good enough, people need to be actively anti racist, anti sexist etc.
