Big Brother is my favourite TV show, wide musical taste from Bowie,& Lana Del Rey to retro soul from 70s & 80s.
Left of centre political leaning, old enough to have been a new romantic in the 80s.

How the fuck did America vote and support such a childish dictator to be the president of a once great nation.
Most of us in the rest of the world now consider USA as a dangerous joke.
The only countries that seem to admire dictator Don are countries that are under dictatorship.

I will go as far as saying Labour seem to jump from one extreme to the other, and yes centre labour, whether centre left or centre right have been ignored while extreme wings fight each other to win power.
The country needs a centre left government.

they purged the corbyn cult, and rightly so.
You call them activists,we both know nobody was purged without breaking simple rules.
I am not about to support far left who are as bad as far right.
comment in response to

You dont need a far left party, just a party left leaning like Starmer promised.
I supported Starmer till he went for the disabled, since then he has gotten worse..there are many good labour MPs,they are to scared to speak up,thats obvious.
comment in response to
post
I supported Starmer to be leader, never dreaming he would use the language of Farage, nor attacking the most vulnerable on disability, pushing support group ESA claimants onto UC and taking away SDP from anyone who moves house or has any change in circumstances that require fresh claims.
comment in response to
post
A lab split benefits Tories,Reform..nobody else.
We need a challenge from a sensible left wing MP & people like me who voted Starmer as leader show disapproval by supporting the challenger.
Starmer betrayed voters & party members, but mostly betrayed those looking for help after 14 yrs of tory hell
comment in response to

I don't underestimate it Tan,it's a real threat..the real question here is why are the media not pushing reform about policy and why give them more airtime than our 3rd largest party.
comment in response to
post
crazy,i know, but imagine jumping through hoops to show the severity of a disability and to have a Labour government tell you that you will lose your entitlement to SDP not because you are not entitled but just because you make a fresh claim for HB...Its bloody disgusting.
comment in response to
post
Maybe when our gutless media challenge reform policy things will change...why do i not hear what the nhs policy is from reform,we have heard a few scare stories but has the media challenged reform like it does other parties?
comment in response to
post
As a labour member and a past Starmer supporter I believed that to..but Tories bad as they were did not force me onto UC from ESA and threaten if i move house or make fresh claim for HB then i would lose my right to full severe disability premium
comment in response to

Sounds like he is trying to divert from tariff mess by saying something obsure and offensive..typical old skool trick of the populists,Hitler tried it,Le Penn tried it,and Farage in uk...no shock Trump tries it...what a shitty president America voted for.
comment in response to
post
Eventually Trump will be outed by his own supporters as the dickhead he is.
You can see it starting now as MAGA start looking for their next cult figure.
Trouble is how bad a mess America will be in by then.
comment in response to

If 44% or the 37% is accurate after the disaster of Trump first 100 days, then America is f-cked.
Trump should not even be reaching double figures given his attempt to destroy the world economy, and pushing America into a dictatorship.
comment in response to

I trust them as much as i trust tories, they still refuse to apologise for 2010 and i still hear them justifying their support for Cameron..nope,right now uk politics is screwed,Corbyn was crap,Starmer is crap,LDs are crap, tories and reform are populist crap, greens are crap.

When Tories attacked the disabled under austerity i said fuck the Tories.
As a Labour member who supported Starmer,I now say Fuck this Labour government.
I am done with Starmer and Reeves.
I will not renew membership.
comment in response to
post
I think your out of your comfort zone in understanding the issue, semantics do not stop it being austerity,it just eases your conscience.
comment in response to
post
That is a different debating point.
My point remains,this is austerity.
comment in response to
post
Easy to say nah when it does not effect you.
As a labour member, and someone who voted Starmer as leader,I am telling you, this is austerity,on the poorest in society,no different to Camerons austerity...try asking the disabled if its any different.
comment in response to
post
Austerity is cutting disability benefit not just to those who barely got on pip but those with severe disabilities, austerity is cutting ESA for those in support group, forcing them onto UC..austerity is cutting winter fuel payment for those who are few pounds short of being entitled to pension credit
comment in response to
post
By threatening to remove money from people who were already assessed to have disabilities that prevent from normal living?
I was told my PIP would not be reassessed due to having a degenerative condition, and yet today a lab govt tell me i could lose entitlement.
comment in response to
post
I agree with that, but what would be your take if speculation is true?Starmer of all people is the guy i had full faith in regarding disabled,he made a point of supporting disabled as leader of opposition..kendall is always eager to cut benefits never saw starmer like that, but if he does lab lose me.

I detest Beyonce,so over rated,Raye is a very new artist with a jazz blues influence so believable that someone older could appreciate her music, however, the real question is,does anyone care what he listens to?
comment in response to

Great stuff Patrick, now tell Liz Kendall to stop pushing disabled people into anxiety with her reform plans, she's treating them with utter disrespect & forcing the support group on ESA to be on dreaded UC instead.
We had 14 years of being pushed around by Tories,I do not expect it from Labour.
comment in response to

Well said, and I do not want our PM kissing Trumps arse, you cannot reason with a populist, let alone one with an ego bigger than the country.
comment in response to

Asc a labour member let me tell you why..Trump is a criminal acting as a dictator president..Starmer refuses to stand up to the gobshite,I am extremely disappointed in Starmers failed leadership and Ukraine are not happy either..truth is Labour needs a stronger leader.,& I supported Starmer.

Musk is just a pathetic man child,a billionaire who bought his way into the whitehouse ..his 5 mins of political gameplaying is going to end sooner than he thinks..I am curious to see how far American citizens will go before a mass overthrow of government.
It's brewing.

America has lost it's position in the world order...USA wants isolation,Trump is delivering on that.
Most Western countries see USA as a lost cause...there is no respect, justice thrown out the window, democracy fading into dictatorship,& disbelief that Americans even considered voting Trump/Vance.
comment in response to

Yes,I think it's a decent show..not sure where all this negativity comes from, although super fans of franchises like LOTR,Star Wars,Star Trek seem to enjoy tearing into the franchise they love...it was same with walking dead as well.
Sometimes superfans need to just chill & enjoy it for what it is.
comment in response to

I am done with Starmer,I supported him throughout, till a few weeks ago when he went for disabled, then arse licking Trump, now this..this is making me ashamed to be a labour member..I want a new leader, and get rid of Liz Kendall, she is a disgrace.
comment in response to
post
The fact this wont happen should be a wake up call to all Americans, you have no justice, the statue of liberty has become a symbol of the past, not representing America any more..You are not living in a democracy, this is what America voted for when they allowed a criminal to run as president.
comment in response to

Like Trump and Farage,he is a grifter with the mental capacity of a 9 year old.
comment in response to

Would we have done that with Hitler?
There comes a point when you should withdraw from the politics of madmen and dictators.
I see Trump as both dictator and a dangerous madman.

WTF is going on in my party.
Labour are falling apart, from attacking disabled and spying on bank accounts,to kissing Trumps arse and standing by while trump screws the world.
Are there any labour MPs that can get government to get a spine and stop hitting poorest in society.
comment in response to
post
If this was the only problem I would agree Ian,but as someone who had full faith in Starmer,I can't stand by while my party attacks the disabled, and stammers on EU matters,it's making Labour look like more of what we had the past 14 years.
Kendall needs to be moved away from welfare.
comment in response to
post
It's a good question,we need someone centre left,Keir has a minister problem..Kendall was always anti welfare, although I never suspected she would move in on the disabled.
Reeves is single minded, right now we need ministers to take the hurt off,not add to it,starmers to uncommitted.
comment in response to

I supported Starmer all the way,the last 2 weeks however have been going from bad to worse,I cannot support Starmers leadership any more, and i feel such sadness having to say that.

I never thought Mimi would block me for taking a different stance, that blind loyalty is as twisted as those who followed cult of Corbyn.
If you cannot debate, then you already lost,Mimi.
comment in response to

Stop Mimi.
We are talking here about a PM bowing to a felon and rapist who is turning the world upside down,& destroying democracy, labours stance should be very clear..full support to EU,and stop giving Trump oxygen in this country.
comment in response to
post
Stop getting so personal just because someone takes a different stance.
I have supported Starmer all along, you know that..if i am now saying he has lost my support then you can bet he is failing.
I will say it again, fuck Trump, wake up to whats going on.
comment in response to

Fuck Trump and his tariffs.
Starmer has completely lost my support these past 2 weeks.
EU,Canada, and UK should stand together and tell the criminal to go fuck himself.
This is not about tariffs,it is about Trumps desire to be god in the world.
Hitler had the same desire.

comment in response to

oh absolutely..Sick of Tories trying to rewrite history with the help of political editors and the media hungry for political headlines.
I just wish Labour would be more willing to attack, and also I am hating labours insistence on pushing disabled people on ESA onto the ludicrous UC system.

Stand up to reform.
Tear into their lies, their deceit, highlight the likes of Andersons past,Labours PR is absolute shite,as a member of the party,I am not afraid to speak up about its current failure to speak up,and to connect with people.
