Why U turn? Can’t we just say they changed their minds? Politics would be better for all of us if more politicians realised they got it wrong and changed direction.

Exactly!

Fantastic! Glad you were there. I knew links were being developed around peer support too.

Not sure I agree. After HIV and sexual health, I worked in diabetes. Plenty of stigma there too, sadly. Learning from HIV was really helpful.

Why do they interview him? He’s often on Newsnight too. Dreadful man.

Pope Pork Pie IV. I like it.

Scary. I hate gangs of football blokes.

But it’s not even that far from Paris by train…

I really enjoyed this thread!

I guess it’s no longer a spa holiday destination. Shame. Near me there’s Torviscosa. 30s build textile town. Amazing architecture. But sparsely populated and no longer desirable. Not well cared for. I find it interesting though.

I’m going to enjoy the unravelling.

They have it in my local pub along with Fernet Branca. I asked the barman if there’s much call for either. He’d never heard of either or known anyone ask for it. I might have to…

Try finding a bank to rob these days, frankly. They burst in, tell everyone to get on the floor then find out this one’s a Wetherspoons now too.

30 years! Amazing. Reminds me how long we have had that wonderful link to the mainland.

I’m very glad I’ve got the kind of face that gets me both seats on the train unless it’s really busy.

It’s like when people ask for a ‘latte’ in Italy and get a cup of warm milk. Always makes me laugh.

We must never forget what our lesbian sisters did for us. We have never repaid them.

That’s a lovely article. I really appreciate people my age doing their stuff with a different perspective and less worry. I need to hear that kind of thing! By the way, I wish I’d made it to one of your gigs.

Same in Dorset. Really noticeable after the lack of butterflies last year. I’m delighted.

It was really noticeable how few there were. Happily, here in Dorset, I’ve already seen quite a few this year.

Oooh that’s nice. Will it stop at Clapham Junction? I do hope so… 😂

I’m always impressed by how they don’t take any shit in France. Last year on a bus in Normandy, the driver left her cab, marched to the back and laid into some lads. ‘Get your feet off the seats! People have to sit there. I’ll throw you off the bus i see that again!’ And she would have.

I bought a replacement handle thing for the Hoover. I was absolutely tormented with emails asking me to review it. I mean, what can you say except it works?

Thank you Ian. I needed that. Everything is cyclical. Consequences can be good ones. And yesterday I had lunch outside in the sun in my Dorset town…

And Bournemouth- Poole - Christchurch. And Southampton. And Bristol. There is a distinct lack of trams in the south.
