Final day of the season… … and the Château Bauduc #fpl Fantasy League. Top 50 managers (of 180) after gameweek 37, pre 38 this Sunday. A hugely competitive mini league! Good luck all 🤞#bauducfpl

Last 3 games of the season… … and the Château Bauduc #fpl Fantasy League. Top 50 managers (of 180) after gameweek 35, pre 36 this weekend. Good luck all🤞#bauducfpl Hanging on in there… this is one helluva competitive mini league.

Two incredible games and one of the all-time great semi-finals. Bravo #intfcb #ucl

Absolutely incredible Champions League semi-final between Inter Milan and Barcelona. Can’t remember any two-leg tie quite like it. 3-3, 6-6 on aggregate. Now for 30 minutes extra time. #InterBarca

Crucial and thoroughly enjoyable 3-1 home win for the Chels against Liverpool. Happily the deserved premier league champions Liverpool put out half a team of second tier players. Georgie Q, Naomi, Aleesa and I weren’t complaining. Cole Palmer getting his goal at the end a huge relief all round. #cfc

With Sophie Chelsea Quinney, daughter no 2, at Chelsea today. (She was born at the hospital up the road in case you thought… 😉) Important 1-0 v Everton re Champions League slot. Day return on the train from Worcs after we’d come by car via night ferry on Thursday from Caen to Portsmouth. Bonkers 🙄

A lovely note from Victoria Moore, the Telegraph’s wine critic, for our Château Bauduc Sauvignon Blanc 2024. Even better with a headline pic in the Easter weekend edition. ‘Definitely a buy.’ Toot toot! Good article too (‘gift’ version so hopefully no paywall): www.telegraph.co.uk/gift/d7bdba8...

Congratulations Newcastle United. A pulsating final. Beating Arsenal in the semi-final over two legs and this Liverpool team at Wembley takes some doing. And 70 years… blimey. #NUFC 🥂

AOC Médoc Blanc has been approved by INAO - meaning white wines carrying Médoc label will be possible from 2025 vintage. Will any of the big names like Pavillon Blanc use it?

Labour's economic policies are a mess. They're against a meaningful EU relationship, so no better than the idiocy of the Brexit evangelists who caused the permanent financial hole below the UK's waterline. A botched budget that will harm growth, employment & entrepreneurship, and already is. Dismal.

I’ve had Musk on mute for years on TwitterX but someone drew my attention to this. Classic.

Everyone either aspiring to these luxuries or, with luck, already having them. (I think I tick off the same number as our cat.)

Georgie our eldest flew in today from London. Tom our youngest (21) is already here, from Uni in Montreal. With two daughters, son with their mum watching two Premier League games ending 0-0 then 3-6, I’m now cooking supper. They’re all now watching the darts. Christmas has well and truly begun.
