Coupang Play has finally locked all their sports behind an additional paywall spurred by the prohibitive cost of Premiere league and additional streaming rights. I wanted to watch CWC this month with the prior setup rather than more features and leagues.

Local friendly used video game store had Witcher 3 & Red Dead Redemption for Switch. Late to the party, but first time for both. An international break for soccer in K-League & MLS just as I want some fun after the semester wraps up. These deals had perfect timing. Now to play a few video games.

Have the Daejeon Hana Citizens FC vs. Anyang FC game playing on the tv while Jeonbuk Hyundai FC vs. Ulsan HD DC plays on the tablet. True K-league sicko mode achieved. If current scores at 35 minutes hold, Daejeon regains the top of the table, but it looks to be a fiery set of games.

My ear buds monitor head position to remind me to stretch my neck to improve my posture. I thought it was creepy to be told to be monitored to move in a specific way, but every alert has gotten me to move just as my neck was starting to stiffen, so fair enough.

Apple might be a near $3 Trillion dollar company, but their MLS streaming quality looks terrible. Visible compression artifacts on the field cameras at all times. Zoomed in it looks great, wide shots are bad. Charging a premium to watch poor quality streams is embarrassing.
