DAZN is clearly trying to stretch out their coverage, but a CWC weather delay in Orland means that I get to see more of the game after classes end this morning. Sucks for the very few fans in the stadium, but watching from Korea, I've got all morning.

It says UNLIMITED FOOD AND DRINK. You've got your value proposition right there. Consider it an extreme mukbang challenge. All you can eat to dig yourself out of a $32k hole.

Not CWC, but LAFC put up Abolish Ice banners at their last MLS home game. Other supporter groups have taken to using "NEAT" (as in, no Ice) as a phrase to show their displeasure with the threats going on towards international / immigrant fans to get around bans.

I'm told the missing amount is a "in contest" statistic where both teams are fighting for control.

Watching this particular movie with my dad is unimaginable. Absolutely not.

Star Trek will never run out of things to adapt. This "giant space scarecrow" idea is just sitting there waiting to be explored.

Verisermilitude in a game with mice wearing armor with their own societies is trying to have it both ways.

We had all the clues, but leading us in the wrong direction. I've had other characters killed by ants in our games in other contexts. You used my own prior character deaths against me. ❤️

Bibigo is an immeasurable boon to the freezer section, and anyone who doesn't understand that deserves a life of bland misery.

Into the Odd is my favorite d20 system anyway, so they are all in good company. Into the Odd combat eliminated so much time wasting in the average TTRPG.

BMW Korea can guess a potential customer by appearance & just get them on board buying a convertible with ease, "You can puff that cloud directly into the sky while you drive. You obviously won't mind all the other pollution either, because look at what you are already breathing. Buy it."

Yeah, I've taken to the game and I am enjoying the open world gameplay. Rivaling Breath of the Wild for a sense of discovery, which is high praise. I've read a few Witcher books in the series after watching the Netflix version. As a series, it's...fine? Game is great.

Love this podcast. Extremely fun group of players as always, digging the premise of this scenario too. Keep it spooky!

Went to Emart and they are only fulfilling online reservations for Switch 2 this week but not making new reservations. Online reservations only. Do I need a Korea specific Nintendo Online account to get in line? My account currently is for the USA store.

My son's goal is to find a Switch 2 this summer. He's saved and has the cash if we can find one somewhere. We're committed to the next game he gets for the system, and he'll kick my butt at that all over again. I'll play the old Switch, instead of my son. Glad to have a hobby to pass on.

@ajosshi.bsky.social In my head: You, a newly minted Steam Deck owner, looking down on a lowly Switch only gamer such as myself...

It has a warning about the age limit in Korea and content descriptions. I knew what I was getting into. My son, who is far better at video games, is a little annoyed that the content is a little too adult for him to be allowed to play. Finally, a game I can play without him kicking my butt!

It has a few rough edges with some ugly textures, but considering the source, it is an impressive port. The nudity on a Nintendo console is a little surprising, and it was from an era of PC games where rape and sexual violence towards women was much more common. Flaws, but not unplayable. 😬

Mausritter is based off Cairn. The system is fun and fast to play, and is also very good for Mouseguard like stories. The inventory tokens for management is unique and grounds your limited resources.

Salacious B. Crumb looking good for a Kowakian lizard-monkey of its age. Good for it. 👍.

"First Annihilation, now The Lighthouse? Really thought we'd get something with that title, too. What the hell does Hollywood have against the promotion of lighthouses as Korean tourist spots? We made a cute little passport and a museum and everything. This sucks."
