I'm grateful for all of the responses. But this is happening to thousands of women, cis and trans, up and down the country. Every day. The only difference is she and I have a voice. Fuck all of those, especially the institutions, who didn't do the work before piling in on 'the transgender issue.'

To be fair, he's always been forthcoming about which side he's on.

This is just the start. It won't end with just trans people.

Throwing trans people with gender recognition certificates, who've been quietly living as their authentic selves for decades, under a bus. Segregating them, like in the pre Civil Rights racist USA, dangerously outing them whenever they need to use the toilet or have to go in to hospital.

Do you know the source? Would love to follow!

Looks oddly like a giant snow pile doesn't it? Lovely shot!

But now, whenever I chat about the things happening in the US with ChatGPT, unless I insist it checks the news first itself, it just tells me I've been listening to fake news sources or I must be making it up. It's deeply disconcerting seeing an emotionless AI be "shocked" by the news too.

Dammit! I wish I hadn't learnt that the Fairlight CMI was only 8bit (because of course it was) ... listening to Jarre's Zoolook album now I can hear it! Never noticed before.

You had me there...

Thank you. Great software. It's going absolutely wild over here in Kent (South East England.) Worst is yet to come. What Glasgow, Belfast and Newcastle Upon Tyne will be experiencing soon looks shocking! My goodness. 130+ km/h winds.

Maybe it's time to make another internet from scratch. Who's up for designing IPv7? (PS Which pub? I'm in Derby. I must visit!)

Oh J.F.C. that one's bad... (Nicking!)

It's a 50/50 question so that's kind of cheating really!

Oops. Presumably o1 and o1 Pro have been optimized for benchmarks rather than real world performance? And less than 24hrs after release people have spotted the Emperor is wearing no clothes then? This is a pretty bad look for OpenAI.

I found the original [Action Lab Video](youtu.be/LBRBB6D8SdY?...) that explains the problem and that inspired me to experiment to see how many clues it would take to get o1-preview to consistently get the right answers (two: both dice shape and directional entropic forces)

Link to the $200 o1 Pro also failing chatgpt.com/share/675251... Oops. Remember, o1-preview consistently got this right!

It's B. And yes, it absolutely does!

It's okay. We know it was FSM's fault really. 🍝🍻

Then I think you do, in fact, need another one! 👗😊

Hmmm.... Both Claude Sonnet 3.5 and ChatGPT-4o can eventually get there in a conversation with enough clues, but neither in single shot. (I didn't do Gemini Pro as I don't subscribe to it.)

Most makers and artists I know have left #etsy, whereas from recent experiences it seems there's an awful lot of drop shippers etc pretending to be makers on it. We were caught out, and we were *very* careful. I've no idea about this particular seller though as I've not looked.
