Another slowly switching over to here from "The Other Place". Still trying to figure out who's who, and build up a new account. Here to vent fury and laugh at the hypocrisy of the far right grifters. Yep - that's not an actual picture of me. He/Him

Definitely showing their insecurities - rather than a low-key, private event they've gone for the "Look at us and validate us as we very publicly descend on Venice en masse with all our very important contacts and acquaintances"

Are all these "celebs" actually friends with the Bezos'? Friends to the extent of "Id love them to be at my wedding"? Or is it all just for show - a glorified networking event, and an ego massage showing off "all the famous people I know"? Certainly hints that deep down, their lives are quite empty

I'm sure there was an article a couple of weeks ago where the parents were moaning that they weren't allowed to take their kids away during term time? School leadership might have been glad to see the back of them if all they were doing was constantly complaining!

So.... To make toilets "safe" for women and girls, she's advocating harassing, intimidating and photographing women and girls in toilets who don't conform to what Joanne & The Genital Inspectors think a woman looks like? Jeez, her hatred has melted her brain.

"....200 or so guests..." "....95 private jets...." Fuck them all. Fuck their carbon emitting, planet burning, arrogant sense of self importance in to hell. Fuck all these "celebs" into the bin the next time they pretend to give a shit about the planet. Fuck capitalism. Fuck Bezos.

I had a similar experience waiting in an HMRC chat thingy - every couple of minutes it would tell me my approximate waiting time, which just seemed to be a randomly generated number.

That footage from Woodstock is great.... The way the crowd all slowly start to rise as the song rolls on...

And most aren't specific just to London. Rough sleeping, poor public transport, and dilapidated town centres are affect towns and cities across the country.

Half of his "gripes" are problems in towns and cities across the country (in our small SW town there are homeless people on the run down high street, struggling restaurants and coffee with security tags). The problem isn't "forriners". The problem is over 15 years of "austerity".

She doesn't seem to have a grasp on the concept that the pupils and families will CHOOSE to apply for a place at Michela - therefore those pupils and their families are already invested in, and compliant to, the "rules" the school has in place.

It's an extension of the immigrant / expat differential. Mr Taylor is a white British visitor, who had come to exercise his god given right to picnic on the village greens of England like his forefathers before him. The others were "forriners", eating from saucepans and not respecting are culture.

Bourton On The Water is a notorious honeypot, along with nearby Bibury. There are so many other places to visit to see "quintessential Cotswolds villages"

Exhibit B: "I spoke to a number of locals who said that the type of visitors coming do not help local businesses." Something iffy about the phrase "type of visitors"

As someone who lives on the edge of "The Cotswolds", this is the equivalent to shouting... "I went to Disneyland and was SHOCKED to find other people were there too"
comment in response to post
Now, I can't help but read between the lines and assume that what actually upset Mr Taylor was the presence of lots of "forriners" Exhibit A: "As someone proud to promote English values and heritage, I felt embarrassed to witness this happening...."

Matt Goodwin - the academic posterboy for the white nationalists "Great Replacement Theory". Trying to legitimise racist conspiracy theories since.... Well, since Legatum put him on their payroll. Wouldn't be surprised if he started advocating for a return of phrenology.

... allowing him to deny, deflect and dismiss any question or claim put to him. The 'debate' then descends into just berating and mcoking their opponent. It's playing chess with a pigeon - they'll just knock all the pieces down, shit on the board, then claim they 'won'

He uses the same approach Flat Earthers do when they 'debate', in that they will twist the premise of what 'side' they are on. They will suddenly claim to not support any model, but it is down to YOU to prove the heliocentric model. Peterson does the same here - claim to follow no religion... /1

The numbers are all over the place too - school fees up by £15k, yet they've cut their holiday budget by £20k, yet they STILL have to cut back on everything else..... Including the £245 per year gardener?

And I know its not the main point, but... The world is burning, and self entitled c*nts like this are swanning around the world on five holidays a year.

My own personal conspiracy theory, which I have no evidence for: The crowd funders could be used as an anonymous way to transfer money from dubious special interest groups as payment for the grifters doing their bidding.

I imagine they will show up for some of the council meetings, and rant about their latest talking point. They'll upload the clips to social media, and it'll get shown in GBNews. What they won't do is the small things to actually help the community they represent.
