Genuine question. Is this sarcasm? Do you enjoy provoking this kinda response from this kind of person?

It's truly wild that the Tzenkethi are better at masking up during flu season than Americans.

Truly not surprised. It's a good book and people are seeing that!

The Hindu and Shinto gods are both similar figures that have been subject to adaptation, but are still subject to worship in the modern day. Does the equation change?

It's not a view I agree with, but what do you think of the argument that these are (or were at least) religious figures and deserve to be treated with a respect over and above most fictional characters?

It was really interesting, because I appreciated that House of X resonated with them to the extent that they didn't want it to end, but the reality was that I knew I would be leaving the line early."

"when the time came for me to start pointing things toward writing the second-act event, I asked everyone if they were ready for me to do that, and to a man, everyone wanted to stay in the first act.

From what I gather, that whole thing was a direct result of them wanting to keep the Krakoan Age going, not it being rushed.

So I listened to the interview, and it was very informative, thank you! However, it seems to be be more related to his departure from the line circa 2021 than the Fall of X itself.

Interesting thanks!

Is it true it was prematurely ended? Seems kinda like it ended on it's own terms to me, even if I'm not thrilled with what they've done since then

Is this a new problem? I'm not super familiar with like the pre-online comic community, but it seems like this pre-dates the internet.

Steak & Shake since they restructured. They used to be a great low cost fun restaurant, but it's now it's so bleak and desolate. It's like eating in one of those restaurant that people shelter in after the zombie attack. Food is still pretty good I bet. I don't know. I can't go there anymore

The world would be a better place if we had adopted the Napoleonic Calendar.

Each of these continuities has their own Wookieepedia pages for the law that was passed that pissed off the Trade Federation: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Senate_...

Pretty sure it was the introduction of new taxes on what had previously been 'Free Trade Zones'.

Flawed comparison. Female Changeling is better at appearing human.

The only reason you can't point to it is that Star Wars has never really touched on that issue in any way. If you set that aside things like the dark sides obsession with suffering and industrial slavery, there is no reason to believe sexual assault isn't endemic
comment in response to post
Star Wars spent too much time in the 90s and 2000s rehabilitating the Empire into 'Honorable' antagonists starting with Thrawn. The damage is still with us.

Yeeeeees, Dinotopia is so underappreciated. I don't think I've seen a book with such fascinating worldbuilding. One thing worth thinking about is that it's pretty untrodden ground as far as Youtube conversation. Who knows, it may blow up as people grow curious about this weird new thing.

Truth is not subjective. If your background is making you see things not how they materially are, then you are being misled by your experiences and values.

Tbf the article itself isn't all that bad. There is cynicism on the left about Democrat inaction. The article diagnosis the problem correctly even if the editorial placement is suss af.

I think the main reason it's kind of obtuse is because a lot of people will actually have a tremendous loss in their businesses and hide it by shuffling around money. We get a lot of tax cheats who receive 'no income' but pay all their expenses through the company.
comment in response to post
Yeah. It's always frustrating when those don't match up. My honest advice is to just not provide the 1120s unless specifically requested. If your K-1s show income, and can be approved, then you're golden! Of course the underwriter may end up asking for them anyway to check your AGI alas.

You actually don't need to incorporate. you could also file a Schedule C sole proprietership.

Sorry you got denied, that bites. I specifically process HELOCs for a major bank. If you have any questions, maybe I can help?
comment in response to post
Banks don't want to end up forclosing. Since 2008 banks have changed a lot in what they require since they don't want to end up in a situation where they are foclosing on a bunch of people. They simply aren't in the business of owning houses.
comment in response to post
If ya want an honest answer, it's two reasons: 1) The requirements are set by Fannie Mae. If they require it, the banks require it. 2) A HELOC is a loan. It's a line of credit you can draw from whenever you want. It's incumbent on the bank to make sure you can pay it back.
comment in response to post
Been this way since 2008, I'm afraid.

If you're self employed, then your employment history consists of: "I've been working X years at my self employed/sole proprietorship/LLC." They don't care about the contractors who have paid your business, only the income you've received from that business.
comment in response to post
Oh one other piece of advice. Don't try to over-explain or 'Add context' just answer the questions specifically and honestly. Every piece of non-requested information you give needs to be reviewed by an underwriter to determine if more documents are needed.

I've processed a few mortgages for creative types and they do tend to be all over the place. Best thing you can do is be very specific in your answers. Not nearly as bad though as the uber wealthy who squirrel away all their income to hide from the IRS. Those ones are the worst.
comment in response to post
This all is pretty tricky, because banks need to make sure they are in compliance with Fannie Mae. There is usually a VERY SPECIFIC list of items we need for verification of employment, and so they need to try to get these somehow to comply with the requirements. It sucks but that's the deal.
