In the above example, we searched for the vehicle "MT-LB" but you can also search for a specific unit, for example 'Winter campaign' ( = 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the First Winter Campaign) = Fighting around Toretsk Give it a try yourself! [Website login is needed]

6. Filter: Choose which icons you want to see, or hide, or combine multiple icons. 7. NEW. You can search for anything you have in mind. If your search term appears in the description, gear, or unit fields, it will act as a filter, and you will only see icons that match your search criteria.

4. Search for a specific grid/coordinate. In xx.xxxxxx, xx.xxxxxx (watch the periods and commas) 5a. The icons visible on the map have been selected by the volunteer who added the data, based on the significance of what is depicted in the footage.

3. Last update date + total icons on that specific map OR amount of icons that are the result of your search. In this case example we have 477 hits on MT-LB between 15 JAN 2025 and 22 APR 2025. (Specific search is a new feature, see point 7.)

1. Select the area or country you are interested in. And yes, you see that correctly—some of our volunteers are working on a side project to recreate the movements during World War II based on geolocated footage from WWII. 2. Zoom in or out.

Subsequently, the Russian troops executed them by shooting them in the back, and some were finished off with shots to the head, as captured on drone footage. Another war crime has been committed by Russian forces—a grim pattern that is neither the first nor likely to be the last.

You can read the whole article on our Twitter. x.com/GeoConfirmed... It's way to much work to split it up and place it here. Like we said before: what is making it hard to use @bsky.app for us: is the character limit. But if you tag here us with a geolocation, it will be handled.
