I'll say more if I decide to stick around -- I'm at Parkland College tryin' to help folks who want to figure out basic math. I ride my bike a lot. I'm still here for now.

Thanks for reminding me that ... yes, I once found myself thinking "you might be right, this is necessary." One of those wars a decade or 3 ago. NO. IT IS NOT.

I declined to sing a song with our chorus that was supposed to be George Washington defending war but it was too timely (and went to a protest or two in the area).

No. They won't. They'll just say AMEN.

Out of classroom and K-12 tho' -> tutoring in comm. coll. but yearning to change the broken infrastructure.

If there is FINALLY a thing that is *correcting in the right direction* I shall sing LOUD rejoicings.

Erm, isn't it enough that they're doing that? That that is WRONG????? In my humble opinion, preaching selfishness as the reason to fight these folks is a mistake. How about we start normalizing decency and outrage at indecency?

I rode my bike by the house of a person and thought "I love you anyway" and oh, he was on his porch, so I waved and said "HELLO!" EVEN THOUGH (and it's a big THOUGH, he has weird email anger management issues) . That was my day.

I confess I appreciate that level of roller coaster. Cubs lost here.
I COULD NOT GET MY EFFING PRINTER TO WORK for housemate... but they got it done at library and to Post Office (further away b/c too long to print) on time. Both of us squelching screaming at each other!!! I walked dog.

I experience it with "research" about community colleges that is carefully crafted to fit that neoliberal agenda (I had to look up neoliberal reading _Costs of Completion_ by Robin Isserles and it fits so well...)

I don't think it will be fine. I mean, it may be *funded* but by people with exactly what agenda?

I'm so sorry. You are, clearly, the complete expert on what I know and do.
When people are confronted with know-it-all "you just don't want to work" pontifications, do you really think it's helpful? I understand you're frustrated. So are we.

Did you know that people can still be active in those groups and -- for good reason, and it should be done -- voice frustration at the Democrats? You're saying people should just stay quiet about it?

It *does* matter why, but ... who's doing the arresting ???

On whose side ??!!??!!
Who were performing "stunts" ? The folks doing the arresting, right?

Oh, if it were me I would tell my fingers I wanted them to learn a new dance --> and try to frame it creatively to not keep falling back into the old way.

Seriously. It is a ferocious denial -- nope, that's too much benefit of the doubt. It's a desier to reap in the war dollars and revel in destruction and slaughter because that's who those people are.

and the incoherence. (Notice I'm not *diagnosing* the obvious.) The blithering incoherence.
