LNP cut staff as Dutton wanted to do. Was mgr in a call centre, to combat, we had “black status”, when 30 min wait, staff including mgmt, would take calls to reduce wait times! Gov always try to get more with less, a productivity amt is deducted every year to do more with less. Staffing is cut 1st.

I worked in fed gov frontline for many years + others! Covid was abnormal service! Pmt approvals for emergency etc were harder before & after covid! This is the normal! Not labor & not LNP it is the application of the DSS act that causes it!

When I lived in Belfast, a friend’s mother was in her house looking out a window and a soldier shot her from just outside it. It hit her between the eyes and they both fell out!! Rubber bullets are not safe, they can kill!!

Should we think of looking at the profits v taxes paid to Australia and then collectively say if you don’t pay more to society we will not buy your product (if possible)! So we make our $s work for their future of not?

If he is working as a nanny & receiving "Centrelink payments" then he has restricted his work search & not entitled. He would also be receiving $s "in-kind" & should be taken into account on his payments as well if entitled. Interesting that!

I am not interested in the machinations of the LNP as they fight to find relevancy in a modern electorate! The LNP has been neutered by the Aussie electorate & are not relevant until they have a complete understanding of Australian society! Let them play in the background until they have policies.

I must admit that I do not see it as workable in that way! I think those that are left will make decisions on personal ambition/gain by going with one or other, they would all get a pay rise/super etc as a senior shadow minister per se. Lots of negotiation. Am I being cynical, I’m not sure??

It looks smaller than those that I remember in Ireland of which we carved Halloween faces out of. Taken to US & evolved into pumpkin carving cus they were easier to get there!! Sitting at your front door with a candle!! Much scarier!

What is “freedom”. It is a subjective idea. My freedom may not address what other people’s idea of freedom is. Responsibility is more what we should be aiming for. We are responsible for making our societies better collectively, not try to trump each other to be richer, have more assets etc.

What “Linda” also forgets is that the women of the LNP et al also had/have an issue with women issues when in office! Look at the female LNP votes on legislation re “women” issues!! I think they women of the LNP are seen to be not cognisant with the women of Australia’s needs and concerns.
