Just as governments are not business' and should not be trying to make a profit so to for government programs. FFS trying to privatize an incentive program make zero sense.

As long as hospitals and medical treatment are "for profit" enterprises nothing will change. Same goes for prisons.

In this case trying to obstruct PP from getting into the house through a by-elections gets us absolutely nothing and aggravates and alienates and already pissed off group.
What's in it for us?

That's for the voters to decide, it was raised in this election and it will be raised in the next.

That is a CPC problem and they make that choice at their peril.

The inherent risk of a leader not having the clearance is a completely different discussion than your message to sent emails to MP's about a potential by-election.
Without the clearance he does not get critical information that he needs to have meaningful input on policy and legislation. 1/2

The election is over, an MP has resigned and a by-election is inevitable. Carney can put it off like Dani is doing in Alberta or he can take the high road and let the CPC live with their choice of leader.
Let's not be a Dani let's take the high road.

100%. I am so disappointed in Canada and Canadians because of the hate that has been spewed during this election. I used to look forward to campaigning and the dialog that came from elections. Now I just want them done.

Does anyone think that this sets up a dynamic where top generals stop telling him stuff which then leads to the generals talking to each other setting up and "us vs. them" environment?
Not a good way to run a military.

Your democracy will never come back whole. You will never again be able to trust that the person in the Oval Office is a dictator or a benevolent president.

Yes this is bad. A big part of the bad is the media framing. This headline could just as easily have been, "Prime Minister vilified for forgoing campaigning to attend to urgent affairs of state.".

Seems like a bit of a contradiction for States to offer support because of a tax imposed by the Federal Government.

My question is what can the court do if the government continue to ignore it? What sanctions can they bring to bear?
